  1. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

The tire availability and ability to rotate the tires is what really drew me to the 275/35-18 square setup. I honestly was concerned about grip initially. Not anymore…. it’s awesome! However with the larger tires up front, you do have to be a bit more careful when scrubbing & counter steering...
  2. Track Supra from Germany!

Dude…. So cool to hear from guys like you on the other side of the pond and how y’all are tracking your rides! Wife and I use to fly from Ft. Myers to Düsseldorf quite a bit. Rent a car and go all over Europe. Now our direct flights are to Frankfurt. Daughter just went last year. Love how...

Great job @ZokiSpeed and glad you’re here! Keep us posted on how she’s holding up for you on track ??
  4. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Yessir. But definitely not for everyone. Good point to practice on your home track in the rain lots before driving all over the place. Are we talking about the same tire? You’re making me want to order my next set already ? https://baero.tech/blog/2020/6/1/maxxis-rc1-r2-review
  5. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I also daily on my Maxxis Victra RC1s. The poor things…. My Supra app says I’m at 3784 miles. Iā€˜m pretty sure it’s been 8 track days (maybe 10) and miles to and from track. Not much in town driving. This next set I’ll slap on the OEM wheels and rubber between track days. And stop bending tie...

If anyone is interested, it’s a great price! And free shipping…. https://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-597406-turner-aluminum-skid-plate-a90-supra/ Ricky at Fuji-San automotive (great guy!!) was looking at how badly I’ve been scuffing up mine and showed me this yesterday. Ordered late last night...
  7. What did you do to your Supra today?

I’m thinking this set is done, lol. Beat the hell out of em and tried lots of different setups on track. I always keep a spare set. But haven’t been this ripe in a long time ??
  8. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Yeah it’s really been a mix bag of try everything. Tire pressures all over the place. At lower temps (say in the 50s) I was starting between 28-30 psi. As the day heats up, went down as low as 24 psi. I did have a few sessions I forgot to pressure down and came back in after sliding around, only...
  9. What did you do to your Supra today?

Going to clear out my garage and put some new rubber on today….
  10. What did you do to your Supra today?

Agree, beautiful! Do they have the option of a 5 point harness? Beautiful job @razorlab . I honestly figured you trailer that bad boy to the track. I don’t feel as guilty now for driving mine to and fro as well ?
  11. How to use hill assist in a manual?

Yikes indeed! Don’t mean to hate on her so badly. I love the car!!!!! It’s just me and electronics. The car drives phenomenally and is truly why I bought it. So good point! My and my wife’s level of computer skills ? Someone told me on here to never open the hood and now I can add to the list...
  12. Manual or automatic?

So impressed what the @zrk & kids can do with this car. Had no idea! That being said, tons of different folks and reasons to pick what they did. It’s not black and white (like anything) by any means. I’ve had mainly manual cars on track. More engaging and faster until dual clutches became...
  13. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Damn VIR sounds like so much fun! Not as familiar with this car yet like you guys. Only done 7-8 track days with her… I occasionally get a slight hesitation in 6th gear at 110+ mph on a straight. I would expect fuel starvation to be during a turn. Or so I could remember in my RX8. I never got it...
  14. Manual or automatic?

Wow! Well said by both of ya ? & great points ā˜ Both apply to me
  15. Rear brake pads, 3.0 base

That’s the key ?. I’d want the size that has the most available parts. If I had found a base 3.0 instead of my premium, I would have swapped out the calipers to save money in the long run on pads. And just to be a picky little biAach trying out different pads. With ya @kaj on the Hawks. I think...
  16. Always be careful about the shop you order parts from!

I used SI all the time because of ease, website, fast shipping (at least from my experience), but… I definitely want to support any/all of the sponsors on here for all of my future needs! It’s really cool they are on here and available for support ? Long time ago (in my mind), I posted a thread...
  17. What did you do to your Supra today?

My PPF guy has that for my roof! It’ll match the stupid Toyota carbon fiber mirrors I paid for. I’m really thinking about pulling the trigger on doing it… And I don’t even have the rear duckbill yet. I’m totally into a stock looking car. But drawn to this ? ?
  18. 23 Supra Gr exhaust

Sold! I’m going to switch my AWE track (is that the name?) to the touring, conversion via @NitroYellowMKV . I think he sells these I bought the AWE track for my wife, with catless dp. She’s a fanatic about a track car sounding proper. But I doubt she’ll notice if I do this conversion ?
  19. Road Sign Assist

Yeah my Toyota nav is turned on. Which is updated via GPS? I obviously don’t have a clue but thatā€˜s how I thought the nav worked. I do have to switch to my Apple Carplay map every time. It’s not set by default. Appreciate the info! If anyone can figure it out @razorlab can ?
  20. Salvage & Wrecked Supra Registry

Holy shite ? ?? Does the charred DNA body parts come with the car??? ? I don’t think they even finished the forensic workup ?ļøā€ā™‚ļø
