Exactly this. I haven't broken the Supra in yet but even under 4500RPM there is power everywhere. My Type R requires me to seek and stay in the power band because if I don't I'm slow af. In the Supra, there is less risk of being slow which in turn makes the perfect gear change less.. rewarding...

Well that all sounds troubling.. earlier posts/reviews don't seem to mention this. Ugh.

It does look good. I guess what I was trying to say is that great sound can be achieved with a lot less. The Focal kit in my Type R is all hidden behind stock grilles and my subwoofer is a small Focal underseat one. While it's not bass heavy - I prefer it this way - this setup sounds fantastic...

I think we are talking two different languages. Sure, your subs look cool and I bet they're loud as fuck and shake cars sitting next to them in the parking lot.. but that doesn't mean they reproduce sound as intended. Besides, in a car the size of the Supra, two 12" subwoofers IS overkill but if...

OK, as someone who values "perfect reproduction of sound" I'm very confident two giant subwoofers is not how its even close to being done. Hi-fidelity audio is not necessarily achieved via giant fucking speakers!
