The reason for the module is to provide a Bluetooth connection to the OBD port. If you're not actively using it, it serves no purpose and can be removed.

You don’t need to limit this to AMS intake people. It’s all the same, manifolds, plates, etc. I’m running viscontis fuel pump and kit, though I’ve heard great things about @Twisted Tuning’s fuel pump kit.

There's a big difference in cost of rebuilding a good trans and a burnt trans, though. 5k was enough, don't need it to be $10k. Chris charges anywhere from 2-8k more depending on the damage.
