  1. Does my ecu need to be unlocked

The recall update absolutely should be covered if that's what you're referring to. Also, good on you for spelling your name correctly. <3 always, Zack.
  2. What is the difference?

Heritage is dumb in all walks of life, to me at least. They should have called it the A69420
  3. Manual Supra pricing

I honestly was just talking about that with the local Supra boys this am. I want that.
  4. Oil getting hot quickly

    It's also 30(f) degrees outside.
  5. Oil getting hot quickly

Actually just found this one from a few days ago. Didn't realize I was logging. Just a 20-30 minute cruise, no heavy throttle.
  6. Oil getting hot quickly

I'm running LiquiMolly 5w30 Special Tec. I'll take some logs this AM while I'm out, but I'm guessing the oil is going to get to temp quickly and stay there. I find some comfort in the fact we're both at 230f right on the nose.
  7. Oil getting hot quickly

Looking through some older logs. This doesn't seem unreasonable. 228-230 seems pretty consistent on the track.
  8. Manual Supra pricing

Everyone: WHY WOULD YOU BUY A 2.0 THAT'S SO STUPID IT'S SO SLOW Also Everyone: I wouldn't care if its a full second slower in the 1/4.
  9. Does my ecu need to be unlocked

All Supras can safely JB4, it doesn't 'touch' the ECU in that way. At all. JB4 is a piggy back. But your 2020 is unlockable, might need a bench unlock though. If you haven't seen or heard of an A90 going into limp mode you didn't search hard enough. I'd have a reputable shop give the car a...
  10. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

Please stop saying 'take rate' when you don't mean 'take rate.' Take rate is simply Rev/GMV, not adaptation rate.
  11. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

Rumors have been flying since 2018 or whenever the first MKV was announced.
  12. What is the difference?

No. All MKV Supras - A90 A91 = racing stripes on the side A91 CF = 2022 With CF Lips Engine has nothing to do with it, year has nothing to do with it. Maybe Toyota could have done it differently, but "A91," "LE", etc. are just trim levels.
  13. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

Depends on what you're enthusiastic about. I'm happy there's a choice for all.
  14. What is the difference?

They're all A90s. All 2019+ Supras are A90s. Even the A91 is an A90 (confusing I know). All trim levels are A90. It's like a chassis code, but it's not actually the chassis code (bleh).
  15. Was this a good ppf install?

This is the reason why it's worth 'dealing with.' If it were me (and I know I'm not everyone), and it was just a bad job, I'd just cut my losses and have it redone. But it's in the paint. This needs to be dealt with.
  16. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

I'm really interested to see what/if there are some here. Because I don't know, can't think of any, and would like to know. But I'm not going to do the googling.
  17. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

what the hell is the context?!
  18. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

Grannas is slow. Watched Joel run from the tree at TX2K. Didn't even run a 6.7x.
  19. 👣 Official: Toyota Announces Manual Transmission Supra!

Seems more than fair, but they'd have to refund it if they can't get one, I'd also get "at MSRP" in writing.
  20. Was this a good ppf install?

This lip wasn't even reinstalled correctly. Looks like they gouged the paint here. This install is completely unacceptable. 8 hours away is the trouble here. I think the right move here is to come to some agreement with the shop that installed it and have them pay for the repairs at a shop...
