So Mark with SG stands alone in his simping for the Z. How are these other teams having such a starkly different experience with this car?
"Get off the track"... Lmao
I really like Throttle House, their production quality is great and the dialogue is reminiscent of to good ol' days of Top Gear
I don't watch all of their content but they've made a few Supra videos and Mark has had the same bad attitude toward the Supra in each of them (so it's not just this video). Based on that I have a hard time believing he's being objective in his review, especially when the Supra outperforms the Z...
Maybe next time instead of a single lap time they could post a video of both cars going around a few laps so we could see how the gap widens as the Z’s fuel starts cutting out.
Agreed. I really can’t stand Mark, I disagree with almost all of his “feelings” for the Supra that he’s expressed in this and other SG videos. Plenty of other content out there, fortunately.
“Oh one more thing guys, fuel cuts out on the Z if it has less than 3/4 of a tank, so if you’re driving...
Sorry to hear that. The issue happened so fast in my car (literally the day I took possession, I had no idea yet how the emergency latch was supposed to be secured).
Hopefully your dealer will cover the repair. Mine actually tried to argue they wouldn't cover it because it's user error related...
If a wiper error code is the only problem I'll have with this car, I'll consider that a huge win.
I have a Toyota Tundra that is ~8 years old now and has also had a minor issue here and there (the infotainment would freeze randomly - this stopped when I unpaired my apple watch from my phone)...
$130k+ for a car with terrible brakes and shoddy interior fitment/finish. I'm doing ok but I don't have that kind of disposable income yet. I live in a pretty rural area too and haven't figured out how I could fit an EV into my lifestyle. Lots of empty, twisty roads nearby for my Supra to chew up
Haven't experienced "limp mode" or throttle hesitation in my '21. I've read about the potential oil consumption issues. I'm at almost 7k miles with no oil warnings...
Totally agree. And I’ve found that many pictures don’t do the color justice. Sometimes it looks bluish or lighter in photos. Looks much better in person.
These look cool. I went ahead and ordered a pair for $45. Here's a link for anyone interested: https://www.ewerks.shop/product-page/supra-a90-cover-set-2
Great to see people aren't having significant issues with their Supras. I still daily my truck to work, but take the Supra out any other chance I get (I'm at 6k miles now; perk of rural living in my area is having lots of vacant twisty roads to enjoy).
Quarry trucks throw all sorts of rocks and...
