I did mine a while ago. Use them as my winter set. I was very pleased with the results. I had to have them stripped first. I am a huge fan of the style of the OE wheels, just not the chrome.
I took mine in for an oil change in Lynnwood that I had to schedule a month out. Arrived and they were confused that I was there. Then told me oil was backordered for at least 3 weeks. I only took it in because the first 2 changes were free but never again. I do all my own work. At least if I...
I went with HKS. I really like it. I have an AA downpipe. It’s got a deeper exhaust note and isn’t too insanely loud under full throttle. The valves are also nice when I just want to drive in comfort mode. It’s not raspy at all. I get some burbles but nothing excessive. I’m not huge on the pops...
I am no longer running Meth on my car. I got this kit new and ran it for a couple thousand miles. No longer need it. It has the optional bracket with it. $400 Willing to ship.
I also added a photo with the date. Apologize for that.
I have 305s in the rear and 275 up front for my summer tires. I’m lowered and the rears have no issues. The fronts will rub a little if you take corners relatively hard.
I’m using Sameh Yehia. He was recommended to me. He’s been great. He’s knowledgeable and has helped me quite a bit through my fuel pump install and the tune. He is Sam tuned on BM3.
I had a 2014 GTI with a tune that I used as a daily for a while. It was relatively nice inside and fast enough to keep me excited. It was about 10k and had low miles.
I gotta give remnant probs. I’m in the instagram chat. They are the most responsive company and they give constant updates. Every step of the way. I’ve been impressed. None of the “it’s in progress, we are close guys!” BS. It’s taking time, but for good reason and they’re transparent about why.
I’d spring for a flex fuel kit. An ethanol sensor like the fuel it kit works, but you’re well on your way to the Cost of flex fuel. Unless you never plan to go for more power.
having the sensor is nice for peace of mind knowing that you got the blend right. You don’t want to be too far out of...
Anyone have a DIY or have information from installing the kit themselves? I’ve got most of it figured out I just have a few questions to verify what I’m doing. Thanks In advance.
I have searched and searched and found nothing. If there’s something easily accessible, I haven’t found it.
I just got mine last month. Was originally 4-6 months but it took 8. I got them through Meraki and they were good with communication and it was a good prices.
