I picked up my blue 2025 AT last week
there is another one arriving at a Houston dealership in next week or so. I was talking with them about a deposit until they pulled the $5K over sticker nonsense
ok thanks! this seemed to work after approx 7-10 minutes
that's a relief I will try to find that setting in the car settings to not worry over it further
still bugged that it blew a fuse on day three but who knows, there has to be faulty fuses sometimes, right?
still slugging my way...
so far I've waited approx. 5 minutes.
currently trying a longer test
it also energizes when the car is off and the cord is then plugged in
leading me to believe this circuit is always hot
Did a quick thread search, didnt see an answer
Picked up my new 2025 last week, and when I plugged in radar detector (that has functioned perfectly in our other 2 cars), noticed it stays on even when car is off/locked. Is this power socket always on? I've never had a car that kept its...
Just did this last week 220 miles to dealership (pleasant drive with the missus), lovely drive home in the new Supra with her following and repeated calling me about how good the new car looked in the setting sun :)
New 2025 Supra arrived at dealership earlier this week, approx. 6 weeks after I placed a deposit (The delivery dates had changed 3 different times, so I am eager to finally get it of course). I was scheduled to pick it up today but the salesman called yesterday and cancelled because the "BMW...
as someone who's picking his first Supra up in 2 weeks (hopefully LOL), would love to hear anyone in my size range (5'-6") for similar issues - do you crank the seat back to get in and use the other preset to get closer to the pedals once seated or do you just lean in and tough it out. Also...
Thank you for posting - great to hear a long-term success story for a Supra daily driver - I am (hopefully) picking up my new 2025 next week and it will be replacing my current daily ride (2006 Acura with 290,000+ miles) - I currently average 15K miles yearly and hope this will be the car I...
I can't comment on the DFR8 but i bought the DFR7 several months ago and its the worst detector I've owned (number 5 I think). Way too many false alerts no matter how the settings are adjusted, I'll never buy a Uniden again (my cheap old Cobra was better/more consistent).
I've been looking for about a month now and of the 11 cars within 500 miles, only 2 are blue ATs (the only 2 ATs) which is my target. Unfortunately both are "Sales Pending" and are still in the build phase, with shipping estimated at early/middle November.
Shane - look forward to watching this series. How do you like No Problem Raceway? Been many years since I've been there, but both sides of my family come from that area so I need find some time to go check it out again soon.
OP here - first of all, a giant thank you for the variety of opinions, advice and information not easily found. As a new member of the forum its gratifying to know there is an active, helpful community of Supra enthusiasts.
I understand the concerns mentioned about it being a sports car, and a...
Looking to retire my long-term Acura daily driver and possibly replace it with a new Supra - looking for advice/suggestions based on the following:
1) Driven the same commute past 30 years, will be buying an AT as there is way too much clutching/stop-n-go traffic in parts of commute - 2 past...
