  1. Center Caps For TE37 SL

It's the variant of TE37 - I think the TE37 SL has some extra material machined out of the bore or something to save weight so the center caps for other Rays wheels just don't fit. Back when I got my hands on the adapters, they looked like this: The adapter fits into the wheel using a rubber...
  2. Center Caps For TE37 SL

Afaik for any rays caps, you need an adapter since the SL isn't really meant for a cap (something about weight savings and racing...) and, assuming your friend has the standard te37 fitment, the adapter will hit the rear hub long before it is all the way into the wheel. There is another thread...
  3. BMS Cold Air Intake vs. Stock airbox? Hurting performance or even the engine ?

The pipe work leading to the turbo is baffled too (the picture of the intake on the BMS website still seems to have the stock piping). I replaced the intake (CTS) and turbo inlet pipe (also CTS) at the same time though, so I can't really say how much of a difference it will make. I get loud...
  4. Formula 1 Talk

All I said was don't poke the bear - damn it. Bear status: Poked
  5. Formula 1 Talk

Please don't. I wish you had read the other 135 pages of this thread so that you could understand that you just don't poke that particular bear ;) .
  6. Auto > Manual

I keep a liter of 10W-30 so it doesn't just run down the shaft of the shifter. Anyone have any suggestions on the correct oil for a better 'engagement'?
  7. What did you do to your Supra today?

Had a similar thing happen with my Works - took 9-12 months to get em, fronts didn't fit, took another 4-6 to get the replacement fronts, had to pay import duty twice on the fronts, and then get the CBSA to refund the duty on the original fronts that were sent back!...
  8. What did you do to your Supra today?

Installed a CTS Turbo Intake and turbo inlet. Get more spool and wooshing noises now - and as a bonus, I didn't break that breather hose!
  9. The Secret: Loud Turbo Sounds on a B58!

I mean, how many people here have spent thousands on wheels just for a look?
  10. Aftermarket exhaust that deletes valves

So I am coded to start in sport, but I have put the car into normal & back into sport several times since I pulled the fuse, and it has never been an issue.
  11. Aftermarket exhaust that deletes valves

I just warmed the car up in sport so that the flap opened, and then pulled the fuse. Never had any issues.
  12. Do I need hub centric rings to mount my WORK T5R-2PC?

I have the brackets, but the shop that installed my tires said that they thought there would be clearance issues with them mounted, and so I just didn't install the TPMS.
  13. Do I need hub centric rings to mount my WORK T5R-2PC?

I have the same wheels and don't use rings. Never noticed any crazy vibration etc. I actually couldn't tell you what my center bore is because I was told when ordering that Work would not machine them to 66.6mm & it's not on the invoice... I assume whatever they manufacture them to is close...
  14. Deepest GR Supra exhaust ?

Yeah but, as far as I can tell, it didn't change the shape of the exhaust cut out. It feels like it's just the inner wall of the cut out that gets trimmed.
  15. Deepest GR Supra exhaust ?

Car is my daily and I don't notice any performance difference on the street. Exhaust is 3in.
  16. Deepest GR Supra exhaust ?

Did the same thing here. Really love how deep it makes the burble. Warm start in sport:
  17. Manual vs Auto (apprehension)

Looks like you've made your decision but I'll add another 'no problems here' post with the 23MT probably at 5000km now. I had a 20AT, always used the paddles, but just got bored with it. Having much more daily fun with the MT.
  18. Supra Ownership Longevity

I guess 5 years (got a 2020 on 'release day' and then traded it for a 23). Don't want to get rid of it anytime soon, won't be allowed to get rid of it for many years!
  19. Single exit exhaust - best cover

OEM+mods - looks like an OEM part. Hides the hole better than that little flap that hides the tow hook mount point imo. Fitment is like 9.5 out of 10 for the top part, probably an 8 once you get to the part that curves under the bumper, but you can't see that anyway - and the clips sorta force...
