  1. Does Tire Rack sell a suitable set of wheels to run 275/35 square in BS autocross?

The BS facebook group will likely have more answers. That said, the few BS car's I've looked at all seem to stuff 295 square on the car. If you're not chasing the top of the class then staggered 275/295 on oem wheels is also good. Regarding Tire Rack, if you call them they can help more in...
  2. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

I don't think you'll get many good answers since most are using an external GPS puck suctioned to the windshield, or something similar that has a more direct line of sight to satellites. You would probably be better served by asking GoPro themselves to see if the antenna inside has had any...
  3. 3D Print Options for the Supra

I realize I never responded to this after reading from the thread bump, but evidently it does. I had one other person PM me saying they had the same issue and wanted some details on wiring. After the first ever track day at CMS where it had the issue I have tracked the car in even hotter temps...
  4. 275 tires and 18x11 vs 18x10 wheel fitment on stock shocks

Brian, the HKS kit isn’t legal in S2. I asked Because I was going to do the same. The happy limit remains 275 on something narrower than an 11 up front. If it were legal I’d be running it and using much wider wheels.
  5. Overheating on track - looking for solution for 2-port engine

Generally going to E30-E40 blend doesn't help temps over all. Even E85 doesn't really change much unless you're injecting it like meth in the charge pipe. Yes, it lowers the combustion chamber temp by a bit (not much though) and you'll see EGT's drop by 150ish degrees F if you're just running...
  6. alignment spec

There is a thread with a bunch of alignment specs in the tracking forum. Please go read that.
  7. G80 M3 wheels fitment 19x9.5 ET20 all around lowered on H&R springs.

Rears will fit fine without spacers. Fronts should also fit fine without spacers pending what camber you have. Assuming it's stock camber, it "should" still be fine, but I would suggest test fitting. The fronts will be tucked inside the fender given the total diameter of the tire is a good...

I mount mine to the lower grill.
  9. **Official Lap Times Thread**

Screen snip from Charlotte Motor Speedway showing the lap time :)
  10. **Official Lap Times Thread**

I'm the same, and it's fun to read through all the tracks that I didn't know existed as well. One other update, since I'm being needy, the Charlotte Motor Speedway time is off. I have a 1:35.66 there.
  11. **Official Lap Times Thread**

Kaj, I read through the list, and it was my bad for not spelling out the full name, but my entry you have listed as: NCCAR - ??, NC 1. Subydude - 1:31.299 Should be under: North Carolina Center for Automotive Research (NCCAR) CCW Config- Garysburg, NC And the North Wilkesboro Speedway -...
  12. Brake pad recommendations?

Small update after doing a track tour of New England. I went in with PMU 999's that had done VIR, CMS, NCCAR, North Wilkesboro, and CMP (2 days) but still had somewhere between 1/3 and 1/2 of their material left. Just to be safe I ordered a spare set of 999's and was glad I did. The old pads...
  13. **Official Lap Times Thread**

Finally got around to downloading the new tracks I went to recently. Unfortunately at Palmer and LRP the cable to my Garmin camera had died and I wasn't able to get another one until Pocono. In lieu of video I took pics of the Garmin itself. First time at all of the tracks, and it was a ton...
  14. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

To the other posts asking, once the engine has reached normal operating temps (usually by the end of the cool down lap), I pop the hood and let it idle for maybe a minute. After double checking the temps are fine I'll shut it off. Modern turbo's that are water cooled don't have the issues...
  15. Race Tracking Your Supra - Information exchange

Shut it off and leave it in gear.
  16. Post your battlescars/oopsies/fuck-ups

I was really hoping the flower arrangement you created at Pocono would make the ā€œcutā€.
  17. Camber/Caster Top Mounts Suspension Secrets vs Ground Control

I haven't run the two you mention, but I also haven't had slip issues with the Verus minus one time where I don't think I double checked the socket bolts. After that I paint marked the location and double checked the bolts and the camber plates have stayed. The other options all look good...
  18. **Official Lap Times Thread**

you’re going to have to vouch for me when I get back and have time to really post since LRP And Palmer bothsaw Garmin camera issues šŸ˜‚. At least I have results sheets.
  19. Brake pad recommendations?

I just bedded a set at Pocono. prior I bedded them after running pagid pads. All of this on the same set of oem rotors. I found it took two sessions at VIR for the shudder to stop, but once it did it was fine. The second set of 999’s bedded in fine since it was the same compound. basically...
  20. Rear Camber Adjustability Range Issue

Maybe, or at least bent. I compared sides yesterday when swapping wheels out and all the bolts were tight with no signs of bent or messed up arms. Who knows though. The car tracks straight, and drives like it normally does. As long as it continues doing that I won't worry much and will plan...
