Was able to take it out for a little bit, still a ton of sand on the roads. It's not that bad except when idling. Have to figure out how to increase idle RPM. The power is there as soon as you press on the pedal, which is what I wanted, no lag, twisting or hop. I did motor mount inserts...

Went with Powerflex inserts and transmission mounts (yellow), plus VTT diff lockdown. Will be a couple weeks before I'll drive it, the roads are covered in salt and sand. Also, working on a couple of other things so it's still in the air.

From what I can feel with my hands the bell housing is making contact, don't need more than an additional 1/2" of lift to get the mounts out. I only see two ways to get this done. Either lower the subframe or remove the brackets attached to the engine. The rear section of the subframe would need...

I must be doing something wrong, I can't get it high enough to pull the mounts out before the whole front end starts lifting. Is there a different procedure with a manual vs an automatic?

Thank you, appreciate the help. Wanted to make sure there wasn't a problem going higher before adding another block. Was shocked at how high the engine needs to go to get them out.

How high did you lift the engine? I lifted the engine about 3" before the jack maxed out, but it seemed like I needed at least another inch before the mounts could be pulled out.

Experience the same with CarPlay volume very low, believe it's an Apple issue from the little I have looked into it. The one thing I haven't tried is USB w/ BT disabled on the phone, and see if wired CarPlay sounds different.

Does anyone know if these are still available or has one they'd be willing to sell? I've looked everywhere and have been unable to find one.
