Yeah, but if you even get a refund at this point and can avoid court, evidence, time to do all that.... you might have to take it and move on. I'm not saying that's what anyone should do here, but not putting much if any work into it form here out is worth something.
I'm kind of curious if what you paid the shop is a sunk cost or if you're able to at least get a refund, or somehow reverse the credit card charges?
Sorry that you're dealing w/ this.
Well, guess who finally has a pole position for I think the first time this year?
It used to mean he'd be a guaranteed win because he'd make a good start and no one would possibly catch up. Could be a good one tomorrow.
Miles are a lot easier to track. And if you idle a lot in traffic then cut your "normal" mileage target accordingly. It's a combo of all the things - time, miles, engine load, etc.
If you really want to know what's up, send the oil for analysis. It'll tell you if you are changing too late / too...
But not by much. Objectively Supra = winner. Subjectively... I can't totally fault people who simply like the looks of the Z or have always kinda of liked them or wanted one from buying them. It doesn't suck at all. Subjectively each person will have a preference based on one or more reasons...
No, they just look better.
And if they're primarily for crash protection, changing how the front end absorbs an impact for example, there's a chance they are actually worse if the originals are in any way intended to crumple. To be clear, I've changed mine, and am not saying this is necessarily...
So you should know to go drive the options you are considering. It feels like you're magazine racing these. You read something, you heard something, you're concerned about some issue or another that might not even ever affect you. Go drive the cars, get the one that speaks to you. Quit deciding...
I feel like I wouldn't drive it, I think you're finding good info on what it does or doesn't do to help diagnose it, but it hasn't fixed itself.
Does it kind of act how it would act if you didn't push in the clutch pedal at all? Say you started the car (on a normal day), and tried to put it in...
@Mayday or @Hasan - Just wondering if either of you guys pursued your shifting issues? If so what solved it (if solved). Or if you just live with it.
I'm all on board with it being a clutch bleed to solve it, and happy to be wrong about a synchro issue, just curious for future reference.
Close enough. They will "self clearance". I bet you could lose some caliper there and still keep the fluid inside.
I'm kidding of course. Well I think everything I said is true but I definitely wouldn't run that combo.
If you end up replacing the bolt, get the nut too, if you want to be thorough. If I remember right it's a goofy one, it's like pinched or something and hard to thread on and off like most (I might be remembering something else).
