I purchased an OBDEleven primarily to see if the start/stop memory functionality would work, and was disappointed to find that it doesnt. On the screen for this feature, theres a warning that mentions that the ECU needs to be below a 2022 version.
I went through all of the pages and here are...
I wonder what would happen if we retrofit a z4 g29 steering wheel and then add this module that toggles sports mode up/down, and code in sport+. This will give us the functionality that @MavJ requested: https://acmtechnik.com/products/f-series-steering-wheel-drive-mode-retrofit-kit
Just did this. Works great, will leave it like this until someone makes a dongle to disable ASS, or until hopefully BMW re-enables the option. I do prefer the option of using a button to swap between modes.
Hmm. Iām not near my supra, which is why I am asking the following question ā I know that I can toggle what sports mode does in the settings (transmission, handling, etc). If I change the four attributes in the regular mode to āsportā and change the four attributes in sports mode to ānormalā, am...
Its been a few years and now that the bimmercode solution is out the door for the foreseable future, does anyone know if there is a module that we can purchase to disable it? Or if there isnt, one that can be retrofitted? I searched for a toyota supra / z4 disabler but couldnt find one.
Small update ā I caved and bought the device. Seems like the auto start-stop memory is in the same boat as Bimmercode:
Iāll do an updated post with all of the options that are included
Update -- Created & uploaded an absolute zero model, looks good! I think I'm going to target the trunk/door open models next, and then leave it at that.
Forgive the dust particles, I know I need to clean my car ?
imgur link if anyone wants to put this in their car:
I created a wireless charging tray that sits on top of the OEM one, so that your phone can actually charge your phone without it overheating. Post with more info: 3D Printed Charging Tray | SupraMKV - 2020+ Toyota Supra Forum (A90 MKV Generation) .
I did not. I saw in diagrams that there were two wires connected to the oem tray ā one is for the cell signal booster, and I assumed that the other one is for the 12v usb outlet / cigarette lighter, which I need to power the magsafe puck
Hi,
With my 3D printer, I created an enclosure for a Magsafe charging puck. Using adhesive, it sits right on top of the POS standard wireless charger. It's super convenient and it's something that will always stay in my car.

Yeah, looks broken on my end as well. The network call is coming through though, so if you're feeling adventurous you can parse the graphql response for the vehicles
Iām skeptical as well, but since we have the ability to check it out, could we take a look at it before scrapping the whole thing? It would be great if we could collectively as a community go through all of the options and see which one works/doesnt work. If the start-stop memory feature works...
Theyāve released a list of what features are supported: https://obdeleven.com/how-to-upgrade-toyota-supra?srsltid=AfmBOop5NNcWQZpkWrARf-7yXm80d3edxfUmTk7MkMju_Agu44-dQRQt
Notable on this list is auto start / stop memory and carplay fullscreen.
Iām a bit skeptical because they included things...
Good news, I chatted on Whatsapp with the gentleman from Feature Installer. He said that the code works for any version of the headunit. I paid for the code and was able to successfully SSH into the head unit and extract the 'home.png' file. On to the next step!
Thanks for linking the thread. I originally wanted to do my 1200 mile oil change myself, but I guess I could use this opportunity to take the car to the dealership and get the navigation issue fixed. Kind of frustrating that the head unit version is hidden behind that. I'm going to continue...
So I just hit a hiccup. I went to start the process of getting into my headunit, and when I went to retrieve my headunit version information, I realized that I did not have access to the navigation system (see photos). I always use Carplay, so this has never been an issue. Does anyone know if...
After owning the Supra for 2 months, I finally got around to coding some stuff out using bimmercode.
I knocked out the BMW dings when you enter the car
Same with the warning when you start up the car
Put on your seatbelt warning when you enter the car.
Fake engine noises
