Given how hot it is in Houston these days, this was a necessary mod: XPEL Prime XR Ceramic Tint.
Went with 5% rear and 20% sides. Didn't do the windshield, but I think I'll probably get that done as well next time I drop off the car for a day. Had 75% on my G80 M3 but think I'll give 50% a...
more panning shot practice this weekend! also, if the Houston heat dies down I'll be in the garage doing the rear speaker port mod today to help with the sound of the stock system. doubting the weather is going to cooperate though...
ugh it took me until just now to realize this was a thing. so much time wasted spent trying to pry my phone from out of that slot, should have done this ages ago.
man, that's a quality of life mod that I really need to do. removing the rear bumper and everything sounds like a PITA, but with as much as I open the trunk this would sure be nice to have.
What's up, all! Figured now would be as good time as any to start a build log. I'm Chase, an IT exec out of Houston, TX and this is my '22 Supra 3.0 Premium in Turbulence Grey!
This build serves dual purpose as a fun daily driver and also a cross state/country road rally machine, so there is...
Productive day in the garage: Tried my hand at wrapping the roof gloss black (first time wrapping), really happy with how it turned out!! Also added a couple of small carbon bits for accents. Thing is really coming together!
ripped off the old body colored door garnishes and replaced with carbon fiber. but more importantly, got my dream wheels on!! absolutely loving it (disregard the inch of dirt and bug guts, just got back from a road trip)
Super minor, but for me it was the waste of space in the gauge cluster. Hate that there is a giant space to the right of the tach/speed that just stays blank 99% of the time. Would have been nice to at least see album art and track for what's playing through Carplay.
I just came from a modded G80, so not exactly M4 but close enough to give input on the platform.
Biggest reason I swapped the M3 for the Supra was size. The M3 feels like a big boi (which it is). It's going to be quick as hell, especially with just a few really basic mods, but it will always...
