The Vents are good but move them away from the door and pushed them back and make them functional like the Alfa 4c/Cayman which have similar vents for actual practical reason
Actually the nose of the FT1 could be made and functional just some smart angle design have to be made to divert the airflow inward. They may not be exactly as the FT1, but something similar could be design, Im sure
As much as I like the final version of the Supra, some of us would not mind make aesthetic changes to the vehicle that would resemble closer to the original FT1 concept?
I am curious of some adventurous Body work Mod companies have plans to do such kits?:hide:
I also chimed in , I owned the F82 M4, E46 M3, E92 M3, M2 and 135is. The Supra basically will have the B58 with different cooling and tuning than the Z4. Regarding the Hybrid system, that depends based on the price point Toyota want to insert their top of the line Supra
The ECU can be hacked, but it needs to be taken out of the car and connect it to a machine to get it hacked. It usually cost 500$ to unlock it. Same thing with late n55 2012+ N55 ECU
The only way the Supra get north of 400HP is by including the M powertrain. Currently the S55/S58 engines meet those specs. 3.0 liter twin turbo. Clearly it could be a modified version on the current set of engines. But so far the word around is the B58 Engine well below 400HP
Nice, the main difference in performance between the N55 and B58 is that after 80MPH the N55 slows down on acceleration while the B58 continue pulling at a steady rate. Is also closed deck engine while the N55 isnt
For those that still wandering of the mythical 380hp of the Z4, there is only 2 options possible S58/S55 or B58, there is 'NO' other options, BMW does not make any other engine around that HP. Now, the 'S' on the naming convention is a twin turbo and are exclusive to 'M' cars and the Z4 hasn't...
It will be the B58 no other engine, you can take it to the bank. Is about cost efficiency. The Z4 will have some updated components but the core engine will be the same. My 135Is/135i has the same engine as the M2. the 135i is 300hp while the M2 is 369hp. The tunning and cooling will be the...
I have owned 2 BMW M3's, M4, M2 and now the 135IS (with the N55 engine)
Essentially the 'New' supras top engine model will be the B58 which an updated engine replacing the n55. The n55/B58 is allocated in all BMW with the 35i/40i nomenclature models, and are the top performers, but below the...
