Fun fact, if you long hold the reset miles traveled button on the bottom left corner of your dash where mph and revs are displayed. You'll be taken to a screen in which you'll find a few extra features, usually accessed for dynoing amongst other things. However if you single click the same...
Mike Botti is tuning on bm3 now, probably the best b58 tuner you'll come across. Personally I'm tuned with Cary Jordan and happy with his results, but down the line when I push for more power it'll be with Mikey.
Youll likely need a new turbo for anything over 550. My 60-130 best time was a 7.14 on cold tires. I haven't tried any pulls yet with warm tires, but I'm betting high 6s is still on the table. As for Custom tunes, yes, they are always worth it with a proper tuner. I'm on bm3 tuned by Cary Jordan...
It's very conservative, there's apparently a 7% loss on the dyno so the numbers are closer to 620 wheel and 600 torque from what I was told. But I digress, it's conservative because we ran into tranny limitations, I'm currently slipping as is so I'm going to need to rebuild the Trans...
Some recent pulls I did on E50. 40-100 and 60-130. If I can warm up those tires a bit, that 60-130 can definately get into the 6s. Regardless, here it is.

So a few things, if your kit comes with the big boy tank, it's going to have to go in the trunk as opposed to the traditional engine bay compartment spot for the smaller tanks many have used. If you're going to be running M1, I say it's better to have it in the trunk as opposed to the engine bay...
I currently run the same kit you're asking about. I ordered it from Throtl Performance for about 815 bucks. Including taxes + shipping, the total price came out to 910 dollars. It also came with a 2 gallon tank.... or atleast I think it's 2 gallons.... it holds a lot of meth :)
Marketing lingo aside, I'm looking forward to seeing the results that will hopefully be shown here. As we speak, protuningfreaks still doesn't have their own controller for PI and for someone like me that's going with BM3 as their tuning platform and wont be able to use a Motiv Reflex due to...
Traction control is on. But it's not like I'm going around a corner at the limit of grip. I'm going around corners at speeds a bus can handle and still getting abs activated. It's honestly a pain in the ass. The only way to stop of it from happening is to turn traction control off.
I've been struggling with this issue the past few weeks after adding new rear tires on my car as well. In my case they were Nittos NT RRR IIs 305/35/19. I've checked my alignment, ride height sensors, and tire settings on the screen. Ride height sensors were fine, the alignment was all out of...
Ha that's ironic, I was recommended to go see him by Alex over at MPI, albeit, for my rear tire rub issue. In Alex's words, the man's a mad scientist when it comes to alignments haha. Anyway, MPI will also be checking my ride height sensors on Monday first thing and then I have an appointment at...
Yeah I'm thinking ride height sensor as well since I do indeed have my tire setting switched to "other". I'm also wondering if this could be an alignment issue as well?
I've recently switched wheels and tires on my car to some Rays 57CRs using 305/35/19 on the rear and 275/35/19 on the front. For the life of me I cannot figure out why my TC is spontaneously activating during the simplest of maneuvers. I could be getting on or off a highway ramp at 45mph and...
Papadakis Racing has a 4 part series on this doing a whole b58 teardown and pushing it to 1000hp with mainly stock internals. He does change the Rods and Pistons and bore out the cylinders a bit though. He explains in depth everything you'd like to know in those videos, worth the watch. Link to...
