    I know what you mean about the Porsche. Had a 911 for about 18 months - great car but always felt a bit uncomfortable in terms of the type of attention it got (and the repair costs). Now I just have a Toyota. :)

    I would totally agree if this was a pure Toyota product. But as someone who has had BMWs in the past, I can tell you the quality starts to go down fast after the first 4-5 years and 50K miles. And the repair costs start to climb... Hopefully I dont need to use it - but the $2K gives me some...

    I decided to get a plan just for peace of mind given the reputation of BMW parts. Opted for the 10 year /100K plan. My dealership would have wanted an arm and a leg for that but Jerry Johnson @ Midwest Toyota offers it at a pretty reasonable price. You can reach him @ [email protected]
