For remote start to work, he coded our US Supra to a Z4 (Euro).
MHD just got back to me so I'm going to do more tests and flash the DME with remote start again later today when I'm off work.
You should do more tests on a completely stock Supra that doesn’t have anything disabled and push out an update to fix the exhaust flap issue.
Edit: Telling us to buy an aftermarket valve controller when our factory valve worked fine before you coded remote start in our cars is inexcusable and...
I decided to restore one of my backup DME to my 2020 without the remote start coding. After driving with it a few days with just a 93 map from MHD and no MHD+ features and the exhaust flap staying open 24/7, it wasn't worth the effort to keep it.
My butt dyno felt the car wasn't running...
its memory and/or completely off. If you're on the latest software you can't code it out, you have to press the button to turn it off every time you start the car or code the car to start in sport mode instead
You will have to press the button to turn off auto start/stop every single time you start the car - it is the same case for me.
I disconnected my battery many times in the past, and my exhaust flap functioned normally before this coding - no ecu relearning needed. I've been driving the car...
To add on to what everyone said above me, once you enter the car, you to put your foot on the brake and/or clutch and press the start button so the car stays on. If you try to drive off without doing this, the car shuts off.
I've had no issues with my OEM valve, spring, connector, etc. and I drive it all year round including winter time in NY. 80k miles on the car, w/ 65k miles on the aftermarket exhaust.
Yeah, I was going to take a look with bimmerlink today. My aftermarket exhaust reuses the OEM valve controller - it was working fine before the remote start coding
Gotcha, I will play around with the ventilation options in the supra app. I reached out to MHD so I will hear what they will say.
No, I'm not using any valve controller - its on the factory valve controller. Normal mode is closed all the time, and when you hit the sport button, it opens the...
My follow-up after they coded remote start on my 2020

Remote start in stock tune with cold start
Remote start after flashing MHD tune & XHP tune
Few issues
- features of MHD+ like multimaps switching isn't there and you can't do any live adjustments either.
- exhaust flap stays open all the time. its supposed to stay closed in normal mode which...
2020 here and I'm on S18T-24-11-520 software with my own bench unlock tool from missiontuning super license (I have few backups of my DME) and tuned with MHD.
Will report back after they do this service on my supra
Not today but went up to Vermont for July 4 weekend. On the way back home stopped by saratoga springs and walkway over the hudson state historic park
Also hit 80k miles
