I'm just so freaking tired of seeing this camo model everywhere.
You'd think with a review embargo lifted we can see some REAL reviews on the actual unit. I don't want to hear anything else about this car until they're ready to show the real thing without the camo.
Tried searching briefly.. but at the risk of starting a thread that I would think has been all over, anyone see this?
Seems heavily edited IMO but figured I'd come to the experts here.
Edit: Dooped by Facebook fakenews.. It's just the FT concept...
What? You do know what the MR in MR2 is an acronym for, right?
If anything, they could make this the new Celica, and then do the Supra later, and maybe a real MR2 later...
Let's not forget, this is the same company that brought us the Celica Action Package "looks fast" commercials. They don't care about functional.
(And yes, I have a Celica with the TRD kit... lol) At least the hood scoop on that car was functional (cooled firewall/exhaust header)
Toyota would understand that bigger tires, although they offer more grip, can also slow down performance by requiring more power to overcome friction. Plus you are adding more rotational weight to each wheel with thicker tires, which is a waste.
So the idea is that Toyota would only fit thick...
I'm confused on the times. Someone said 51 second so I Googled standard times and got this site:

wut?
Grille design and fake vents aren't the same thing. Just about any grille design will eventually get air through the front bumper and into the radiator, which serves a function.
Vents on the fenders, doors, hoods, and just about anywhere else are a different story.
The only purpose I've seen...
Particulate filters are what diesel engines use to capture soot.
This was not normally a problem with petro/gasoline engines until direct injection became more common, making it a new emissions requirement in the future for direct injection vehicles.
I might have read a bit too much into the articles saying "Toyota benchmarking new Supra against 911"
I will be curious how the Supra compares to the Cayman GTS though - of any generation.
