I'm not a big fan of the increased wheel gap, that's why I want to explore options. Purpose built might have been a bit over the top, what I meant is that I only drag race it, no lap courses etc. It is my daily street car too.
I just put 18" Apex wheels on, 305/35 rear and 275/35 front. This increased the wheel gap and I'd like to close it up a bit. The car is a purpose built drag car and I heard lowering drag cars isn't ideal. What are my options here, can I run an adjustable spring kit or do I need a proper coil...
Yes, I have a dedicated MT drag pack for the track, but my street setup is different front and rear as well. The only reason for this was availability, I wanted NT555R2 all around but the fronts weren't available so I went with RE71R.
Nexens on stock rims for winter, those things are great for the price. 255/35 and 275/35 fit the wheel well nicely. Dedicated drag pack Mickey Thompson ET Street R 305/45 on Welds, and Nitto NT555R2 on stock wheels for street 285/35 in the rear with stock PS up front. Will likely get a dedicated...
Modern top mounts spool much quicker than most people think. 6466 would be the best option, but I'm running a Gen 2 6870 and honestly the lag isn't that bad.
I did this when I just parked my supra in a shipping container. It isn't as easy as you made it seem lol at least for me, I'm 6'0 180lbs. It was awkward trying to slide out of such a short window, anyone taller or thicker than me likely wouldn't be able to do it.
Thanks for the replies! The fitment guide says modifications are required but it seems this fitment should be plug & play.

I am having a hard time matching a good tire combo with the Apex SM10 rims in 18x10 +30 front, 18x11 +40 rear. Following the fitment guide I can't find a street/track setup that uses a 305 in the rear without modifications. I would prefer to run a 275/285 up front and a 305 in the rear. I am...
I can get some clips this weekend. I have a dual wastegate setup on a 6870 top mount. They are incredibly loud, so loud I thought there was something wrong with my engine.
