If anyone is in the Houston area, I have two Goodyear eagle exhilerate all season front tires with 7/32" tread left and made in 2022 so plenty of life left. Willing to let go for cheap.
I ended up swapping all 4 of my tires to PS4S since one of my rears got a nail in it.
My toddler couldn't handle the G's too well in my prior F80 M3 around town, so letting him build up some tolerance for the time being first ;)
Btw, saw a sale on the Evenflo recently in case you didn't already buy one...
Finally got around to doing the hardwire install today for the R7. The plastic cover was a pain to pry open but at least the clips somehow stayed in tact when it finally popped open. Tried sliding in the taps with all the cables and components in place but it was just not enough space to work...
Ended up getting a 2021 3.0P instead of waiting for a new one at MSRP (seems like a unicorn these days). Was able to get a pretty good deal (49K for 24K miles, clean history) through private party, so am happy with the purchase.
Don't think they are doing an A91-MT. The only special edition they have is the 45th anniversary one.
As for the dealer adds, for sure the dealer could remove them if they wanted to but in these market conditions I think they're basically saying they're not going to remove them because someone...
Got tired of waiting on lists for a new '23 so I got a '21 premium 3.0 for 49k. Deals are out there to be had. But I would also say the conditions of all the used supras are super variable. I drove some that were priced higher and had dings and rattled so you really just have to do your research.
Do you mind sharing which company you used for the enclosed trailer? What was your experience with them? I'm also trying to find something from out-of-state so may need the reference.
Way too cheap if no accidents or major issues. If you can trade it in still for ~$48K, why would it be listed for $41K private party? That don't make sense. Just do a nationwide search for used 2021 3.0 Premiums, the only ones under $50K are ones with accidents on the record or extremely modded...
Thanks! That's informative. I've been mostly just tracking Toyota inventory and on a few regional dealerships' waitlist that are willing to sell at MSRP or close to (minor dealer-adds). The issue is it seems I am pretty far down the line and these dealerships aren't guaranteed to get 1 or 2...
How did you set up the logistics? Did you do finalize all the paperwork remotely and then just hire a company to transport the car back to you? I'm thinking about doing the same thing if I'm able to find a dealer that's not in my state that's willing to sell MSRP and has an unaccounted for...
I've pretty much been calling all the new allocations that have been popping up and it seems like dealerships are going back to selling them at markup, sadly. I guess I'm just going to have to wait out the waitlists from places that are actually willing to sell at MSRP.
Some of these...
Yeah seems like there's less wiggle room on the MTs. I'm on a waitlist right now but I think every dealer I've talked to that does MSRP has some sort of dealer add-on in the range of 1-2K. I don't even bother with the ones that are still trying to add markup.
Have any of you guys who bought at "MSRP" able to actually get the dealer to remove the silly dealer add-ons (tint, vehicle guard, wheel locks, GPS tracking services, etc.) that are usually like $1K-2K in additional charges that they claim are on all new vehicles and that they can't remove...
You gotta realize that a car loan is amortized (bigger interest payment initially, less equity) while HYSA is simple interest, so unless you're doing to hold on to the car for the entire duration of the loan and rates stay over 4% on HYSA during the duration of the loan (which it likely won't)...
