Why only decat? I am tuned and have a catted downpipe and love it, and it doesnt smell at all. It sounds great too, way louder and aggressive than stock. The decision to go catless comes down to 2 reasons, louder exhaust and a bit more power. But you have way less issues with the catted one...

To get close to that level, all you need is a downpipe and MHD, for example, with a tune. Nothing fancy. I am at around 430 with a catted downpipe, full Maganflow exhaust and an OTS MHD tune, and that is with 92 octane.
