I just purchased an MST V2 intake to be paired with an Active Autowerke catted down pipe and the Borla Atak exhaust. Does anyone have this setup on their A90 Supra?
if so, what are your honest opinion on it?
my car is a 2024 Premium with the manual transmission. (i won’t be tuning it until the warranty expires in 2 more years)
thank you in advance

Had that exact combo l, love it! Then went to catless + Borla and liked it even more. Perfect combo. I have videos here and on YouTube (interior and exterior). I also have the Borla for sale right now! Shoot me a message if you’re interested

I went V3 intake and decatted downpipe. I honestly think the V2 might sit better in the engine but the V3 has a better intake noise/piping.

Downpipe, only go decatted if your planning on tuning and also if you dont mind the little bit of fuel smell. Otherwise, I've only heard good thing about AA Downpipes!

Why only decat? I am tuned and have a catted downpipe and love it, and it doesnt smell at all. It sounds great too, way louder and aggressive than stock.
The decision to go catless comes down to 2 reasons, louder exhaust and a bit more power. But you have way less issues with the catted one, specially if you get an AA one for example, that way you dont have to deal with the cell light, and no smell.

MST V2 intake sounds amazing if you're into turbo noises. Hugely recommended, it's still fun nearly 2 years later!

I think when he says "only go decat if you're gonna tune", he's referring to the fact that MT's can have major overboost issues if you go catless downpipe without tuning it. From what I gather a tune is basically mandatory on MT's with catless if you don't want it to drive like crap.
