  2. 2019 (69) Supra A90 Edition - UK

For sale is my 2019 (69) Toyota Supra A90 Edition. One of only 24 cars brought to the UK, it is finished in the stunning Matte Storm Grey paint with red leather interior, matte black forged alloy wheels, and red brake callipers. One owner from new, covered only 5500 miles, never driven during...
  3. Considering buying a Supra

Yeah likely a Toyota factory car used for demonstrations or press drives, or perhaps the early depositor track day. But I've been told by my dealer there isn't really a strict running in process and as long as it is warmed up you're good to go, and with 10 year warranty you've got little to lose!
  4. Considering buying a Supra

It is a 2019 19 plate so may be one to watch out for, the ones registered in the UK before Sept 19 were all either press cars or demonstrators as far as I'm aware. All first customer cars were registered Sept 19 onwards so a chance it may have lived a hard first few hundred miles!
  5. Uk front number plate

My plate is just a plastic plate with a reflective backing so just used a stanley knife to cut the top right corner of the reflective backing to avoid tearing then a dremel to trim it. Ordinary drill bit was fine to make the holes, they're pretty small from what I remember, just enough for a...
  6. Tow hook plate holder

I just used PTFE tape and tightened as much as possible! I've got about 3500 miles and it is still secure. It has loosened off a bit but no signs of it wobbling or anything yet. Most of the movement I've seen is just rotating the plate side-to-side very slightly but in normal driving conditions...
  7. Tow hook plate holder

This could work. The one I bought is no longer available but this looks pretty much the same. The BMW F-Series fitment fits perfectly in the tow hook hole.
  8. First Scottish Meet?

Seeing as there's some chat going on about a meet down Manchester way, anyone keen for something further north? I'm free most weekends for a wee meet and a drive somewhere!
  9. First Service

I got mine serviced at a main dealer on Monday. 3100 miles, 1yr old. Probably not necessary but I wanted at least an oil change and thought I'd get the full service and see what it's like. Cost me £375, changed oil, filters, brake fluid and did some checks. Prob not needed every year. Think I...
  10. Nissan Z vs Toyota Supra

I've been reading that Nissan isn't bringing the new Z to Europe so no contest for me! A little disappointed though as I'd like to have test driven one and once one new sports car doesn't come to Europe it'll only be a matter of time before more and more don't make it... Overall like the side...
  11. Uk front number plate

When I got my car I did not let them drill the bumper. I kept the number plate in the window until I got a tow hook mount sorted. Bought a generic one from Amazon made for BMW F series cars which fitted the tow hook hole perfectly. Needed to trim the backing plate and the number plate slightly...
  12. Phantom Matte Gray Owners, Manifest Yourself

They sold it as the A90 Edition in Europe, they came with a "1/90" dash inlay, and you cannot order another matte gray one from a dealer. I have one of the 24 UK models.
  13. Phantom Matte Gray Owners, Manifest Yourself

There's 90 for Europe, 24 of which came to the UK.
  14. A90 Edition Owners Thread

Received the updated certificate today, seems to have all the correct info now. Slightly disappointing though is that it is printed on ordinary gloss paper as opposed to the high quality paper of the original, definitely feels less special.
  15. A90 Edition Owners Thread

I've received the correct inserts, but not the certificate yet. They said they would be sending it out but it comes from a different location than the inserts so may arrive later. Expected today or tomorrow but we'll see. Just had a look at that one on Pistonheads, could maybe be Shmee's, has...
  16. A90 Edition Owners Thread

Got a bit further, customer relations were useless, dealer couldn't help so had to email one of the main Supra guys for the UK directly and got it all sorted. Seems like for whatever reason they were using the address I had when I bought my 86 5 and a half years ago, and not the one that I...
  17. A90 Edition Owners Thread

Have all you guys received the correct inserts now? I originally sent a message in March, heard nothing and forgot about it and left it due to the lockdown and just remembered last week, sent another message. They're telling me that they thought they had all been sent out, and another person...
  18. Missing (modern day) features

On android when I get a text message (only through default messenger in my experience, not WhatsApp etc) it is displayed in my notifications, and using the voice commands can navigate to it and have it read out without needing to touch or look at the display. Only done this once though so not...
  19. First Scottish Meet?

I'm free except for the week beginning 27th July. My work isn't back yet so could do weekday or weekend. A nice country drive with a stop sounds good, as long as places are open! Any suggestions for location? I'm only really familiar with the Aberdeenshire and Cairngorms area road wise, no idea...
  20. What’s the maximum height u can sit comfortable in a Supra?

It depends a lot on where you're tall if you know what I mean. I'm 6ft but longer torso and shorter legs. Got a good bit of room to move seat further back, but on full low I've got maybe an inch until head hits the roof.
