Just an update on this in case anyone else wants to do the same canister delete. I drained the tank and pulled the lpfp inspected everything and it looked okay.
Kept the canister delete by putting a filter on the tank vent line and capping the first purge solenoid in the engine bay with a...
This is interesting. I just talked to someone who removed the canister is a similar way and had zero problems. Maybe theres something in the tune/calibration that can compensate
Yep I got a few evap leak codes that were easily cleared/ignored. I don't know if or why removing the canister is related to the fuel starve but I just got this problem right after removing the canister, and the canister vents the tank, which has a pressure sensor built in, and a jet transfer...
Yes I believe what most people are talking about (and these kits) are regarding the evap lines and valves that are very obvious (ugly)in the engine bay. The part I'm talking about is the charcoal cannister behind the right rear wheel (see pic above from i3igpete)
Ahh I see. I believe that line goes back to the charcoal cannister behind the rear passenger side wheel, so your cannister is venting to atmosphere instead of to the intake. Assuming you left the cannister in with that evap line and tank vent still connect to the charcoal cannister? If I...
Thanks. Sounds my problem might not be from evap. Maybe this is just coincident timing and the problem is something else. Probably time to pull the LPFP
Wondering if anyone has successfully deleted the EVAP charcoal canister? I removed mine over the winter and put an air filter on the tank vent line. The weird thing is this year I'm now getting fuel starve with a full tank just cruising around a right hand turn. Everything works fine in a...
I've done a bunch of alignments on my car with hub stands without calibrating anything.
The only time I had a problem was when the front toe was wayyy off because I had to move the car before I finished the alignment...long story. It threw a chassis/steering alignment error code. Once I fixed...
I've got it setup almost identical to AJs and reused the original rivnut on the bumper bar. Also move the clevises wider. I actually removed the entire plastic mesh and replaced with wire mesh (too many rocks and pickup hitting the radiators). I removed the steel angle/L bracket because I didn't...
I had the same problem with these. They're junk and you can find them for sale on amazon for cheap. Even if you get them to not slip, they fray the cable and then you can never adjust them. Eventually hooks failed/bent and the splitter slammed down at ~155 mph going into a breaking zone.
Kind...
That's good to know MHD is working out well. My tuner had similar things to say about BM3.
Seems like the easiest option is just to switch to MHD to monitor OBDII channels and keep Racecapture for GPS and CAN. I have a Garmin too which is foolproof butt need a little more detail to improve my...
Curious to know why you stopped using it if you don't mind. What do you use instead?
I was using BM3 for logging before but the app is so bad now it's useless most of the time.
