So I was following an install video for the Rev2. I got to the part where I was pulling wires out of the connector. I installed the white/black and white wires into pins 32 and 31 correctly. However I forgot where the wires black/green and pink/red came out of. I have tried to reach out to PTF...
As the title reads, unfortunately. I had just gotten my DME back from femto today. Went to load my stage 2 multi map on the car. Got through all the stages and it failed at 100%. I am doing this on iOS. I did all the steps they told me to if it failed. I’m at a loss for now. Anyone ever had this...
I guess I’ll go ahead and have it done somewhere else then if it’s not a big problem. I had the car aligned at the dealer when I initially lowered it. Just wasn’t happy with it
I went to a local shop to see if they could have my alignment done. They said they could not do it due to not having the tools to recalibrate because I have adaptive cruise control? I did do some searching for some answers and didn’t find a clear answer. Hoping someone can chime in if I do need...
I’m trying to figure out if anyone knows where I can find the correct fitting or the part# from Vargas turbo for this fitting pictured? I am trying to make coolant lines for my turbo kit. I did email Vargas and they said they don’t know.
I’m sure you could drop the subframe with floor jacks and have it in and out within a days time. I have a lift so it made it so much easier being able to sit on a rolling chair and work. Being my first time I was able to get all the panels off and drop the subframe in like 4 hours and replace...
You could probably get away with jack stands but I have a two post maxjax lift. Used an engine table lift and engine brace bar I got from harbor freight. Some power tools I already had and bought some sockets I needed. Took me all day but overall it was not as bad as it seemed.
Not sure, I have yet to complete putting the car together. I will update you when it’s done. Gotta bolt the subframe back in and waiting for my oil to arrive on Monday.
I just went and got one from habor freight, I’ll probably never use it again lol. Bought it solely for this one job. Unless some how I break another oil pump.
I have a lift and tools etc. it’ll just be my first “BMW” I’ll ever be working on. There also doesn’t seem to be a write up anywhere I can reference to do it myself. I just don’t wanna go to the dealer and they brick my ecu. I’ve heard of cases where people tell them not to plug in and they get...
I did that recall and it’s been well over a year since it was done. Just unsure where to go from here. I don’t want to do the oil pump myself and then it’s doesn’t solve the issue. Then I’m paying for a whole motor
As I was driving home from the grocery store I got the “engine oil pressure too low” warning on my screen. Granted I was a mile from home and continued driving it anyway. I’m not sure where to go from here. When I got home I decided to pull my codes on bm3 app and this is what I got. I also...
