Someone more knowledgeable correct me please if Iām wrong. I see a lot of mentions of spats when referring to arch flaps - as I understand flaps are the plastic covers underside to direct air away from the tire and reduce lift.
Aerodynamics: Includes a carbon fiber ducktail spoiler, front...
It's clear these pieces of plastic are designed to eliminate the maximum chance of wind buffeting at any speed...
BUT THEY'RE UGLY AF
I bet these fugly uglies increase the drag coefficient from 0.32 to 0.34 themselves alone.
i think you nailed it - cars are beautiful and fun and sound amazing
at one point, i forgot this while chasing lap times and ever-higher goals of motorsport
I remember being asked to show this Toronto doctor around Calabogie in his 1-week old red convertible f430.
After a lap, he said he didnāt want to drive. We spent a fun day together where I enjoyed driving his car! Another regret not getting the 458 thereafter!!
That's a definitely a valerate to dipropionate jump in experience! iykyk I always loved the Gallardo and regret not jumping at an opportunity to get the Superleggera when offered.
I feel for you. The key is made by BMW and has to go through their supply chain. It really is $1000 cad.
I had a similar story except that the dealer I purchased my car from did not include the second key which I made sure was in writing and as part of the purchase agreement. The initial quote...
I believe the toe in of your front might the compromise your tech made causing less caster.
Iād suggest 0 toe in and maximizing camber -1.9 (i think -1.9 is the max obtainable) and maximizing caster (i think 7.5 is max obtainable) from stock oem.
I think for aggressive street or mild track...
tbh, i donāt know how you do all this intense wrenching yourself plus helping others and still have the passion and the energy to track!! A break is well-earned.
Were the ds2500s provided in brembo big brake kits? I remember using the supplied pads of brembo kit for some light track duty and they were suprising great on street and held up at Tremblant mid summer intense heat after a set of Pagid yellows were finished.
Iād like a pad 30% more capable...
Thank you - this is very cool!
In my ideal world, I'd have the updated damper settings - Monroe CVSAe damper and its electronically-controlled bypass valve (yellow) from the Deep Dive is very interesting.
If I could redirect this conversation and ask more of your knowledge base... would ISTA updates include changes to the adjustable dampers of the Supra?
Would I be correct in thinking that updates to the Final Edition Supra in terms of suspension / dampers be a combination of hardware - changes...
"It's one of the easiest transmissions I have ever done, but I've pulled mostly evo and dsm transmissions."
Normal, mortal humans do not routinely pull transmissions - just in case you wondered how us regular human lived... *respect*!!!!!
