It's wild that there are so many perfectly fine and better looking options available but ya'll are obsessing over these ugly things just because Toyota.
It's clear these pieces of plastic are designed to eliminate the maximum chance of wind buffeting at any speed...

BUT THEY'RE UGLY AF

I bet these fugly uglies increase the drag coefficient from 0.32 to 0.34 themselves alone.

"Designed" Like almost everything Toyota has done after the initial release, these are just another after thought. I'd be surprised if they even work. 😂

Sort of.. but there's plenty of evidence to suggest the manual always existed and they simply held it back to give the car a mid-life sales boost. 🤷‍♂️

And no, I don't believe any of Toyota's bullshit PR.

AND FUCK THE MODS FOR REMOVING MY ABILITY TO COMMENT ON THIS THREAD BECAUSE I DISAGREE WITH YOUR BULLSHIT OPINIONS.

fwiw the two aftermarket ones that I tried (armaspeed and AMS) both only half-worked with windows open and with the windows closed it gave me a wind rushing sound that made it sound like my windows were still open a crack. Granted, I use the M-style mirror caps, so maybe the fins on those direct air in such a way that it interferes with the wind buffet deflectors on the market.

Hoping these little guys from Toyota work better, don't really feel like spending $50-$100 to try another aftermarket pair, but the ones I ordered a month ago haven't shown up so not sure if they're on backorder or if I just got screwed.

Not really a fan of the aftermarket ones looks anyways, I feel like most of them stick out like a sore thumb. These aren't pretty but they're subtle by comparison.

Ebay ones posted a bit ago work very well, no noise with windows up or down
