How do I go about getting my restored to stock and refunded for this? As cool as it is having remote start there are just too many bugs with this for now.
Ahh that makes sense and explains the quirks. Yeah I'm interested to hear how that goes because I plan on tuning my car soon, so if I can just fix these issues via tuning I'd be content.
Is this non US software? I know outside of the USA the flap functions differently aka stays open most of the time and I believe the burbles are significantly less present on Supras in other countries.
I just tried coding the auto start stop off with bimmercode and it seems to have worked. I only took the car down the road and back to test it, but the symbol didn't pop up at all.
Still have the always open exhaust valve issue and the lack of burbles in sport mode. So something is still...
Ok, I just went for a drive, a little over 30 miles. You are right, the valve still is just always open. The odd thing is that when I remote start the car it's closed but when I get in the car and put my foot on the brake and press the start button to drive, I can hear it open and it just stays...
Just had my car done and it works perfectly. Seems like all of my previous bimmercoding is still intact as well. Also I am not unlocked or tuned yet. Going to make a video on it a little later today.
Edit: Two updates. First I noticed that the auto start/stop symbol has returned on my gauge...
I'm still curious about the pre locked DME being the issue since that's what he has. Since Femto stopped offering though maybe there are other factors as to why it only works on some cars.
Well every year of Supra has the same Idrive6, not sure if there any other differences within the software but next time you speak with them ask them if the Supra they have gotten it to work on happen to be 2021 and newer.
What year is your car? I remember the Femto option was only for the 21+ locked DME's. I'm not super knowledgeable on how any of this coding actually works but just wondering if that could be a factor.
Haha wonderful.
The way it's worded, I'd imagine they're working on it. I'd imagine this is the same thing Femto used to offer for that short period of time
I like the OEM ones better than my AMS ones. The AMS ones caused some extra wind noise on the highway with my windows up which is not present with the OEM ones.
