Just did this. Works great, will leave it like this until someone makes a dongle to disable ASS, or until hopefully BMW re-enables the option. I do prefer the option of using a button to swap between modes.

Its been a few years and now that the bimmercode solution is out the door for the foreseable future, does anyone know if there is a module that we can purchase to disable it? Or if there isnt, one that can be retrofitted? I searched for a toyota supra / z4 disabler but couldnt find one.
