Gotta keep that same energy man, that’s what it’s all about. So many damn excuses coming up about this Z. It’s like I said before, all of a sudden everyone is becoming the “based in reality car enthusiast“ talking about how the test don’t mean anything because nobody ever drives like that in...

I don't know how this hasn't reached Toyota yet and a recall hasn't been issued. This is a serious safety concern and one of the things that keeps me from being fully invested in a purchase
The usual keyboard warriors and bench racers on IG and YouTube etc, that were hoping the Z would put the MKV out of production and make Toyota think about what they did.
Here we go, I'm starting to hear and see it already. These diehard Supra haters are starting to move the goal post now. All of a sudden "performance isn't everything" now that the so called "Supra killer" has fallen short of it's hype, same ones who trash the 86 and BRZ for not having a turbo or...
People get way too caught up in these hypothetical nonsense scenarios, "auto is faster", "gapplebees" etc. Nobody is a racing driver and these aren't race cars, no matter how many track days or autocross events you go to.
Yeah, I don't get the whole thing of owning a car for 6 months to a year and then already looking to sell it. It's like people get more excitement out of buying and selling as opposed to owning and driving.
Funny how so many people are hung up on "heritage" now when Porsche has always been given sht for the 911 being "the same" car since it's inception. I also remember the Challenger and Camaro getting mocked for the retro modern design approach as well. Gotta keep that same energy.
I honestly only believe that everyone is so hype for this new Z because of the Supra being considered a "rage inducing disappointment" for a lot of people.
That's how it is with a lot of these spots and performance cars. Nobody keeps these things past 6 months or a year. Same thing with exotic cars as well, either use them as an investment tool or play with it until boredom. Realizing this has made these kinds of cars become pointless IMHO.
