Where can i find a cad model? I don't mind paying for it as I've been struggling to properly model an insert, i would use it as a base to model almost like a center console thing to store items in.
Yea if it works for you just keep doing that, if its not broke dont try and fix it, i mainly put this here incase anyone happen to see it and somehow didnt know
Hey man, congrats, if you ever wanna cruise around or chill/grab a bite lmk i assume you mean your 20 min south of the LVIA? or just lehigh valley in general
I was under the impression that the heat exchanger was good for running more consistently on the track? as someone else here already said i should look more into the intake manifold for keeping car cooler anyways
I used the search bar and again the threads i found were either not related or dated when people were still saying shit like "ams is new and not well tested yet but looks like junk"
and no where did i ever say anything about asking AI so lil weird for yall to try saying i did, i even liked...
That's also a solid solution lol, I'm running MST 6" High Flow Catted DP and AWE Non Res Touring Catback its only noticeable for me when I'm going slow and my gf closes the vents
Do me a quick favor and open all the vents fully and see if that changes anything? i had a really loud whistling noise and it was just because i had air on blast and both passenger side vents closed fully
Oh i know to take it lightly but it was to show that the material of the charge pipe to a degree does get affected and hold heat compared to others thus heat soaking quicker, my main post wasn't to debate the dude I've since blocked (for being mad annoying) when I'm just trying to learn and pick...
Are you like a special kind of stupid? I showed you proof that in general charge pipes do affect IATs and you seem to be trying to rage bait since you were proven wrong, try again maybe?
Bro just wants to pick a fight for no reason and latch on to the tiniest detail of what i was asking, rather...
I will be getting the CSF heat exchanger, my tuner just recommended me get an upgraded charge pipe and i wanted to find the best for my car, I'm learning and i appreciate your explanation over some others here as you actually explained your opinion rather then just tell me I'm stupid and to just...
I think you need to hop off your high horse dh, you clearly aren't understanding, I've been saying people say that aftermarket metal charge pipes have higher internal air temps and are more prone to heat soak as its just physics, especially in traffic it in theory should allow for heat soak...
Maybe you should look into it? there are plenty of posts and videos of people talking about how aftermarket charge pipes can increase internal air temps and lead to quicker heat soak? sure can these be considered anecdotal? probably but you cant say its really that dumb when you hear/read things...
