Supra Connect 5.7.1 - Wish It Worked

Supra Connect nor BMW support could tell me how to change the service number in the computer, they would not even investigate the matter and find a response and get back with me, very disappointed with them. I flew out of state and drove the car home and would like to put the local dealers number in there, I have not taken it to the dealer as the car has been in storage this winter. Plus it is the worst driving car I have ever owned as it wants to run off the road in both directions and I have owned 2 vettes and a cobra which did not have any issues with running off the road it just does not track the highway like my other cars have and I have owned many.

Get an alignment. Supras with correct alignment track 100% true, like all cars. Most of the things people complain about with cars is auto 101.

I only ever used Supra Connect to guestimate fuel level for E-blending before I realized I could just divide my remaining fuel range by my average MPG to get a shockingly accurate fuel % value.

Surprised anyone actually uses it anymore

You can also use the secret menu on the dash to get an exact tank level in liters

Yup, I never felt the need to do that though, doing the range divided by MPG thing has been accurate to within 0.1 gallons every time for me. You do, however, need to have a lot of miles driven without resetting your MPG estimation for it to be accurate though.

Yea if it works for you just keep doing that, if its not broke dont try and fix it, i mainly put this here incase anyone happen to see it and somehow didnt know

I love how people are so quick to complain when something does not work properly, especially when many times they know nothing about it and do not understand the complexity behind it. But when it works, they are very quiet.
I am not saying that you do not understand it, since I do not know you, but the same idea applies.

my supra alignment was screwed up - maybe from boat ride or too many sasuages/beer at the factory. Get it aligned.
