Supra Connect 5.7.1 - Wish It Worked

The geniuses at Toyota/BMW improved their lousy software so it no longer works. Thank You geniuses!! Now it goes to a blank screen when I put in my 4 digit sign in code. Let me assure you that blank screen is more satisfying than the low grade app itself when it is working normally, which is barely any useful function at all. What a waste of time and energy. I called the 800 number for support and Toyota Brand denied they provide support for it any more. The woman at Toyota Brand said she no longer has Supra Connect for support on her computer. I should call BMW. So I did just that. BMW assured me I was mislead and gave me the same 800 number for Toyota. SO TOYOTA LIED TO ME - perhaps I interrupted her stuffing potato chips down her gullet. At the very best Toyota support is apathetic, lazy, self absorbed, pathetic, and brutally ignorant. Today they admitted they support Supra Connect after all, they asked me tons of nonsensical questions like my current mileage, gave the the bum's runaround until they ran out of BS, then when it finally came to actual support I was told that a level 2 tech would email me with a case number in about 5 days, not counting the weekend because they are closed. So its going to be 7 days until I get a level 2 Tech. Seven days is also known as a week. Toyota is WEAK. I am now looking forward to being apathetically ignored in 7 days. If you are normal minded, the best course of events is forget Supra Connect, its strictly for the rubes that believe Toyota is interested in providing a quality experience. Here's the ultimate word on Toyota Quality, my 2021 Supra was given a starter at the BMW factory that has the added feature of causing a fire in the car while it is parked, and my 2022 Tundra was built with sharpnell in the engine and its recall calls for a total engine rebuild. Now that is Toyota Quality on display!!!

Uninstall, and reinstall, Supra Connect ver. 4.3.1. Then go into your app/play store and turn off auto-updates for it. Be careful when updating apps manually that you don't accidentally update this app. If you do, you have to do it all over again.

It's the last version that worked properly. Still working properly for me.

On Supra Connect's best day, it's only useful for copying the VIN to your phones clipboard, lol.

It's still required for AAiDrive, which is still very useful.

It’s not like the app is essential to driving the car, it’ll get fixed eventually. Don’t get your panties in a bunch over a software update for an app you don’t need.

I signed up for that app when I bought the car, used it a couple of times and then never again.

I only ever used Supra Connect to guestimate fuel level for E-blending before I realized I could just divide my remaining fuel range by my average MPG to get a shockingly accurate fuel % value.

Surprised anyone actually uses it anymore

I flew out of state and drove the car home and would like to put the local dealers number in there, I have not taken it to the dealer as the car has been in storage this winter. Plus it is the worst driving car I have ever owned as it wants to run off the road in both directions and I have owned 2 vettes and a cobra which did not have any issues with running off the road it just does not track the highway like my other cars have and I have owned many.

Get it realigned. 0.1 toe-in at the rear, 0.2 if you're not confident enough.
