How old is your car? The factory free segment lasts four years. You could be getting close to that.

and the email is likely legit. Those urls are legit. Whoever writes this is likely a junior copy writer.

Where did you read Toyota extended the service to 10 years?

I got the same email in early June. I was expecting it since the free service was supposed to be for three years, and mine was to expire at the end of June. I tried the link, but the German BMW site didn’t recognize my credentials, so I called the number on the U.S. site as I didn’t see an option to renew there. I was told that option would appear after my service expires. I just checked and there’s no option to renew. It does show all my services are still active.

That appears to be for the Toyota Connect, we have Supra Connect. Two different apps. Ours runs through BMW.

I never did get the option to renew the connect services, or a follow up email. My services still work; in fact, just yesterday I got a navigation update. I guess Toyota quietly extended the services, and who knows for how long.

Services have been extended indefinitely. There is no need to renew.
