Run it at a drag strip and see what your mile per hour trap speed is - that is really telling of how much power you are making :)
Its like when I go to my doctor and weigh 10lbs more than I do at home - WTF
I see that LS1 tech thread thrown around, but I had a catless '06 GTO with long tube headers, tuned by Speed Inc and I was able to pass emissions in 2009 and 2010 with no problems up here in Northern Illinois. I believe my rear 02's said NOT READY as well.
I guess i'll find out in a year or so...
The reason I ask is that I believe some turbos delete a sensor/heater element of some sort (Don't quote me on this) that throws a code which will show up on Illinois emissions as "NOT READY".
And if you are already running a catless exhaust which triggers a CEL, and your tuner tuned that out...
Its actually pretty good with how expensive things now are, along with shipping - and you have to remember this is a company where a goal is to make profit - its not some altruistic venture.
If you want something even cheaper then look at the Maxton Design kit and you will be at about 800 or so...
I like it - dont like the 4 cyl turbo engine...but such is progress.
My wife is over driving our 10 year old minivan now that that our kids are in double digit ages...we should have never gotten rid of our older 4runner :/
Buy a high powered magnet and hang it from under the front and sides of the car - it will pick up the nails as well as triggering lazy stop lights.
You can send me the thanks via Venmo/CashApp or subscribe to my OnlyFans @ OnlyLargeCucumbers.
Thanks and regards.
Yes, sticker tires could help - however if the front does not have enough grip your car will understeer and push through the turns.
What modifications have you done?
