I have a set of front and rear Whiteline endlinks for sale. The fronts have roughly 2000 miles and 4 track days on them, the rears are brand new sealed in the original packaging. Some minor visual wear from installation and removal on the fronts. $200 shipped to the lower 48.
I have a set of Verus camber plates for sale that I bought earlier this year new. They have 2 track weekends or 4 track days and roughly 2000 miles on them. Some minor visual wear from installation and removal. Selling because I moved to coilovers that came with different plates. Sold.
Fuel system is pretty much done, not a bad way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Really liking how easy this car is to work on. Torque sequence on the rails and injectors was annoying... I did give up on the dorch eca harness and ordered the MHD harness instead. I would have spent the day trying to...
Sort of got started with the fuel system this afternoon. Anyone that has done the install of the dorch zeitronix eca know what connectors and pins I need to pull from the bcm to splice their harness in? Their instructions look to be for a different car or gen of b58. I can ask them but I don't...
Concavity is going to be determined by offset, wheel width, brake clearance, and what concave profiles are offered for your chosen wheel from BCF. If you talk to BCF they'll recommend +22f/+35r with a max concave profile in the rear and medium in the front. The set of HCS02s I have are...
MCS turned that blown damper around quickly and I got it back last night and installed this morning. Took the car for a long drive today, felt good to drive it again, its been sitting for the last 2 months due to weather, traveling, and broken parts. Ride quality is much better with the MCS...
More disappointed than anything. This is also eating up valuable testing time as I have a lot of mods going in before track season starts up again in mid September.
Pulled the defective damper this afternoon and it is in fact blown. Had no problem compressing it by hand after pulling it out. Never thought to check this before installing. At least everyone involved is trying to expedite getting this resolved asap. Shipping it out to MCS tomorrow.
Weather finally cleared out and I took the car for a test drive. Didn't make it 10 feet without a problem, passenger side rear strut is defective/blown. Just my luck.
Back to wrenching. Coilovers went in this week. Overall the install is very easy however I took the non-easy path to start with.
For the front, ignore anything that suggests keeping the strut bolted to the strut tower, using a pry bar between the pinch joint, then pushing down on the hub to...
I'll cross that bridge when I get there. I plan on running a low e blend, something like e30-40 most of the day. The only problem session will be first one of the day if I'm running something like e60-e70. I can always blend that down if its an issue. Worst case I'll have to get a surge tank...
Small update, parts have been piling up, build will get started again soon.
MCS 2wnr coilovers showed up this week. Went with divorced rears to avoid swaybar clearance issues.
Box full of the entire verkline catalogue sans the rear subframe along with a whiteline rear bar.
s58 injectors...
Just get something valved if you're concerned about noise levels then pick based on looks/sound/fitment. I have the valvetronic titanium exhaust with an AA catted dp. Valves open its very loud since there are no resonators or mufflers. Valves closed its probably 20% louder than a stock...
Now that I've had some time to gather my thoughts and analyze data from last track weekend the path forward seems more clear. Getting a better feel for how the car behaves and how to drive it. Plenty to clean up still.
I don't like the way the rear of the car feels. Particularly under heavy...
One other thing I'm trying to figure out is spring rates for the mcs coilovers. Vendor I'm likely going to order from is suggesting a 14k/18k divorced rear setup based on where I'm headed with the car. My only concern here is this may be a bit too high for street use. I'll need the ability to...
