Hey mate, I have had a third party activate my Apple CarPlay and I’ve been using it without problems for months now. The functionality is definitely built in, Toyota Australia are just screwing us.

At how many kms are we supposed to be bringing our cars in for the first service? I can only find mile figures online and I had the dealer remove the next service sticker when I picked up the car because I like a clean car lol.

Aussie spec valves stay open no matter if sport mode is one or off. I assume because we got a slightly quieter exhaust, Toyota decided to just leave the valve open all the time. Now that I have switched to a louder exhaust, my comfort mode driving is super loud all the time lol.

Given Mark’s video basically identifies that our valves are open all the time and the sport mode adds crackles, I assume having a valved aftermarket muffler just means that you will have a loud exhaust in both comfort and sport.
