All fixed now, the battery was just too flat to do anything, it could sound the alarm but couldnāt even flash the headlights itās was so low! The joys of covid, lockdown, barely driving and cold weather!
Okay... so currently led in bed, itās like 4am here so I canāt do anything about it at the mo but we just woke up to the sound of an alarm going off. Looked outside and all 3 cars seemed fine, no lights flashing or anything. I went downstairs to check regardless, picked the keys up and hit...
No holes drilled, legal size, legal spacing and legal font. Wouldnāt work for a normal seven character plate but perfect for me. Could potentially get away with six character too if it was mounted lower down
I do indeed and the impact isnāt worth worrying about in the slightest, more than enough room for air to circulate. Itās like comparing two different front bumpers that have different designs and cutouts
After a telling off from North Yorkshire police for not displaying a front plate I finally got round to putting my private reg on which having fewer letters/numbers meant I could have a shortened plate that could be mounted without having to drill the front bumper, I refuse to do it!
Used to drive my S15 Spec-R eeeeeeverywhere in the snow when I was young and dumb. Had a right laugh drifting at some silly speeds but wouldn't dream of doing it now. The Supra is a second car so it can stay on the drive for what little snow we get here
As per the title really. I havenāt seen this covered anywhere else on the forums but it seems the most obvious thing to do... Iād have thought someone would have developed a 3D CAD file by now for the wind deflectors to stop buffering? Theyāre a fairly basic shape and design so 3D printing would...
I didnāt actually think that would be the safest or best way to do it in all honesty and that fuelling would have been out on a stage 1 with decat leading to overboosting/fuel cut
interesting... so essentially I either need to wait for someone to develop an OTS map for euro spec cars retaining the secondaryās, have a customer tune or take the plunge. I may have to see if someone can fabricate a cheap-ish mid pipe. To be fair itās only a V band and straight piece of pipe...
I remember seeing your thread actually, it stuck out because your figures breached the 500hp barrier and by a significant amount on standard 98RON fuel which is something none of the US cars have done without additional mods/ethanol and they donāt have the restriction of secondary cats so I was...
On UK/euro spec cars we have catted downpipes but also secondary cats/OPF which is a bit of a pain. Iāve seen very little posted out there around this as most of the tuning posts come from the US but Iām looking at the idea of a catless downpipe but I donāt know what to do about the secondaryās...
A friend of a friend that has a PPF company fit it. His name and company escapes me but Iāll have a chat and see if he can get me the details. As for mine... yup itās finally on the drive
That doesnāt necessarily matter... I had them on my S15, pillar-less/frameless doors
Sorry for the lack of decent photos to show as it was in the potato phone camera era...
