  1. Absolute Zero touch up paint

I have read a few threads about touch up paint on this forum but no recommendations or good experience with Absolute Zero D01. I tried the Toyota D01 base coat and mid-coat but could not get a good match. I also tried Dr. Colorchip D01 (which comes as a single stage) and could not get a good...
  2. Wouldnt Rev after starting

This thread deals with under-revving. Has anybody experienced over-revving? I posted the following in a braking thread but maybe it belongs here. I wonder if both issues could be related in some way - rpm sensor, ecm, etc. I ran some errands today, parked the car and was inside a store for...
  3. Braking problems

Songbong - Did you learn anything more? I ran some errands today, parked the car and was inside a store for about 10 minutes. I came outside, started the car and left my foot on the brake while I shifted into reverse. Before I shifted, the engine speed was 1,000 rpm. When I shifted, the engine...
  4. Gifts & Goodies From TOYOTA & Dealers

Nice Poster - especially if your car is red. Too bad you could not get it to match your car (if you have white or black).
  5. Official 2020 Supra MPG: 24 City / 31 Highway / 26 Combined

I am a little surprised to hear some of the mpg reported by many on this forum. But I don't do many miles on long distance steady speed highways. My overage mpg average is about 16.
  6. Tire Pressure?

For the past few months (with the colder weather) the recommended tire pressure per the vehicle system display on my vehicle was almost always suggesting 37 pounds. Now that outside temperatures have been warmer, the recommended pressure has been increasing. I saw a recommended pressure of 41...
  7. Official 2020 Supra MPG: 24 City / 31 Highway / 26 Combined

XtremeMac - I just noticed your post to this thread ealier this month and am suprised nobody asked (1) do you set your displays in metric units and (2) isn't 263 kilometers per hour a slightly excessive speed?
  8. Future: Code MM1010219x58TD7

I am impressed. Some of you guys could work for the NSA. ZF lists a 7 speed dual clutch transmission - product code 7DT45FL (which is the reverse of LF54TD7 from A70TTR's initial secret code).
  9. Future: Code MM1010219x58TD7

Does anybody know what the code MM1010219x58TD7 means?
  10. 2021 Toyota GR Supra A91 Edition Revealed. Limited To 1,000 Units

Interesting that there is a significiant increase in horsepower but virtually the same torque as the 2020 (368 versus 365). I wonder if the engine will feel much different until you get to around 5,000 RPM.
  11. Screen brightness

There is a sensor on each side of the gauge cluster. If you shine a light aimed at the fuel gauge on the left side, the display will brighten. Same result if you shine a light aimed at the temperature gauge on the right side.
  12. DIY VIDEO: Dim Screen Fix, and Video in Motion etc via Bimmercode

Thanks for the video. When driving at night is the screen too bright? In other words do you need to adjust the brightness anytime you change from driving in bright light to driving at night?
  13. Jacking / Lifting Points

Does anybody make a pad/adapter to use at the center front axle lifting point?
  14. Battery Maintainer Wiring?

Thanks - My only issue with connecting to the posts under the hood was trying to connect the maintainer without opening the hood on a frequent basis.
  15. Battery Maintainer Wiring?

Since the BMS is attached directly to the negative battery terminal, is it safe to connect the battery tender to the positive battery terminal and some good ground location in the trunk? That way you would not be bypassing the BMS.
  16. Battery Maintainer Wiring?

Did anybody confirm that the 12 volt outlet plug inside the car is switched, so it would not work to attach the battery maintainer to this outlet?
  17. Front plate placement / Let's see those personalized License plates

The Supra bracket is very similar but not identical to the bracket shown in your post. The Supra bracket has a BMW part number. Two long screws are used to attach the bracket to the bumper and either two or four smaller screws are used to attach the plate to the bracket. The two long screws are...
  18. New Tungsten Supra - picked up yesterday 9/19/19

Congratulations How do you park so close to that cinder block wall? I would be paranoid about touching the wall.
  19. Paint Protection Film on all Supras / OEM PPF?

The film I am wondering about is not an additional cost option. The film I think I see is on the plastic garnish on the door (near the fake door vent). Does your Supra have this? Is there film any where else that is not an extra cost protection?
