I'm in lower Fairfield County and it's the same thing here. Must be because dealers haven't had any in stock for months, nor have they ever really had an inventory since they came out 4 years ago. That said, my car gets a ton of looks and comments anytime I go out, so I guess it's like owning...
I could count on probably one hand how many I've seen in CT in the wild in 3.5 years of owning mine and when I have, of course I'm not driving mine. Maybe it's not so popular here?
I have mine serviced at Toyota of Greenwich primarily because I bought the car there, but they have been good to work with for service. I've always scheduled ahead of time, so never had a concern about a Supra technician being available.
I have a ‘23 Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve next to my Supra. I like it because I lose nothing in terms of luxury (it’s actually a gain in many respects), can carry the family when needed, and most importantly, the Supra never needs to see a wet or salty road.
Yeah, it definitely wouldn't be stop/start if you were in sport mode. Interesting issue. Did you lock the car when you exited as well? I'm wondering if there's some sort of "it makes sense only to a BMW engineer because of EU emissions rules" where the car automatically shuts off after a...
Was your driving mode set to normal (default) or sport? In normal mode, the auto stop/start is active by default, so the car may have shut off the engine because of that, particularly if it had been running for a while before you exited the car. I have turned my car on and left it running...
I agree. I had some concerns based on the photos, but I don't even notice them now that they're on my car and the finish matches perfectly with the mirror arm trim.
Please, please, please make more! I ordered a set last year that was subsequently cancelled (I assumed due to supply issues) and keep checking your site every few weeks hoping they've come back in stock.
I'm 5'9" and hit my head at least 3 times getting into the Supra during the first week of owning it, but haven't done so since then. It definitely requires some thought and remembering and is not like getting into a larger vehicle.
I agree it's ridiculous to go for a long test drive where you drive the car hard, only to return and say "no thanks". However, I do consider it equally ridiculous to not allow someone a test drive (particularly in pre-COVID times when the sales rep would be in the car) with the excuse of it...
