I had them done when I had the windows tinted. I think they either used tint or some sort of transparent vinyl.

Update after I was able to wash it, post-tint / blackout 5% on sides and rear windshield 45% on front windshield Smoked taillights and side+rear reflectors

Blacked out the windows, taillights, and reflectors this week. Carbon fiber mirror caps on the way to replace the red LE ones.
