I honestly found the Verus video pretty half-assed. He was like “there’s torque specs for the top nut, but “meh”. (Goes to town with impact wrench). I also watched another video where a guy put camber plates on an M3 and used that ”special tool” for the top nut. It has an opening int he socket...
Yea I replaced my cap as well. I still hear gurgling from the engine bay but it stops completely when the car is off. Did tip off coolant once last year too.
I ran 285's on the stock rears. Nitto R2's and they were fantastic. if you aren't racing and it's mostly a daily with expected spirited driving, R2's are more than you'll need. Yes they have a much shorter lifespan. Mine are about almost done and theyre on 13k miles. I do not drag, track, etc...
is it stretched at all on 9.5" on 265/35/19? any fender rubbing with 35s? i'm trying to hone down which tire sizes to go with have been advised to run 275/30/19 & 305/30/19s. (i'm waiting on 9.5" and 11" wheels to arrive)
yea BC Forged rep advised 30's...H&R's aren't as low as the US pro kit eibachs so i'm probably about your height. i honestly think 35's would clear, but i'm hesitant atm.
it's definitely time to swap them out, i can't drive worth shit in the rain anymore when before i could get around fine on wet roads. Swapping to BC forged in jan so setup is going to change again.
sooo what youre telling me is 305/35/19 on 19x11 dropped on H&R is chef's kiss? lol. i'm trying to decide between 30 and 35 and ive been seeing alot for 30. My desire for beefy thiccness calls for 35
5-6k??? damn. i daily mine, no races, just enjoying the tune...i'm at like 13k and replacing soon. If i did rolls etc i'd imagine 8-10k miles but i'm more conservative i guess.
i see you're running 30's...are 35's that problematic with fitting wheel wells? I'm on H&R's. (i just ordered BC Forged myself and trying to narrow down tires while it gets made)
i honestly like it alot. I'll wait for the official release etc before making real judgments on it, but adro is at least adding options to the same old shit we see now and i give them props for that
i got an A91 type cf duckbill from ebay for mad cheap and has great fitment. (no drilling) then i see stuff like the SH aggressive duckbill not fitting on the ends and i'm not mad about not going that route
