Not thrilled that Toyota didn't develop and use its own engine for a Supra, but if you're looking for a silver lining at least the aftermarket is already robust for the BMW engines.

Look at this view! The duckbill spoiler and short rear end look so good! Based on the reflections you can also see the nice curves that are going to extend from rear of the doors into the rear wheel fenders.
I think these pics are a pretty good confirmation that there'll be no DCT. That's a BMW automatic transmission shifter we can see. DCT doesn't even have much of a future in the BMW lineup. The next gen M5 has already been confirmed it's ditching the DCT for an 8 speed auto. :(
So looks like...
I don't think so. There's barely any space back there even for a super small seat.
Those rear headrest looking things could just be rollover protection hoops?
Thank goodness the humped area behind the C pillar looks like it's camouflaged heavily. Once those hideous humps are removed the car will look even more sleek. Also the triangular windows on the sides still being covered up makes the car seem less sleek. Once those are exposed, things should...
 It totally makes sense to use a previous name with some cachet rather than some made up new name. It's what they should have done with the FR-S for example. Should have called it an 86 in North America from the beginning.
I think a lot of enthusiasts would agree with this. Regardless if...
I agree with @Craigy it very well might be shown at Pebble Beach. Toyota thought enough of the show to debut the gray FT-1 concept there. Might only be 3 months away but who knows how far along they are. The Supra Concept could be already done and they're just keeping very tight lipped for all...
That's Tada San's vision and as recently as late last year that's what he said is still coming. I hope the strong dollar to yen conversion rate and Scion brand being dropped hasn't changed these plans up at all.
Looks like an S2000 from the side. And totally bland compared to the Supra concept. It's too bad Toyota wasn't testing their own version together with BMW in these pics.
Probably won't see anything Supra related because Toyota's press conference is on the second press day. If they had something exciting or important to show it would probably be on the first press day.
I think that'd be a good plan too but no indications so far that's what'll happen :fingers crossed:
But can you imagine the pissing matches we'll see on here between hybrid and gasoline-only owners :catfight:

I can't really think of a hybrid sports car that's affordable for and popular with the enthusiasts crowd. Big part of the Supra's legendary status is from being a true tuner's and enthusiast's car. If the hybrid power plant prevents much tuning or customizing, the new Supra won't be nearly...
