It does have a wifi module. I've seen it a couple of times on my phone "Toyota1381XXX" it connects to it when I activate CarPlay. I have not been able to connect to it directly.
I'm assuming the Supra app uses the cellular radio in the car to track GPS location. Same as the emergency call...
I did the Blackvue DR900S-2CH with the battery back up for parking mode. Added a T-Mobile hotspot for $10/month and it charges from the USB port in battery pack. Camera's use the hotspot to send me alerts and I can access the camera live from my phone.
Installed skid plates this week. About a 3 hour install as some of the screws were difficult to reach. https://speedindustry.com/protekt-custom-front-bumper-skid-plate-20-toyota-supra
Shout out to jgoad13 for this DIY for BlackVue DR900S-2CH. I followed this install.

Only difference is that I used this instead of sticking it to my windshield.
This is exactly what happened to me, and lots of owners. The only difference is I was running IOS 14.2 (non-beta). Started a petition to get all affected users, will be sending this to Toyota when there are enough signed up. http://chng.it/78gWbXj7

They won't confirm anything on the phone. They don't want anyone to know how wide spread the issue actually is! Pick up the phone and call 800-331-4331, option 5, option 3.
Same issue here. Calling Toyota Corporate right now. Going to give them some hell. I still have my factory sticker where it clearly says "Wireless Apple CarPlay Compatible." Going to start using the term "Class Action Lawsuit." Would recommend everyone else do the same 800-331-4331 (M-F 7am...
