It does make it so it comes on and off with the ignition. Use a basic 5 pin relay. I typically strip the oem wire and solder and tape in my connections. Taps work. It really is just personal preference not right or wrong.

Without modifying the stock sub box like Sam is talking about it will be pretty hard to swap out to a traditional 8” sub. It’s just due to the shape and depth of the stock enclosure.

You can leave them connected. They will still play normally with the LC2i Pro connected to them.

No magic really. Be patient. The panels, especially if they have never been taken off before, can take a good tug to get them off. Just look for the few screws and clips that hood them in and go for it.

You do cut the bump stops. Car rides great. I have about 500 miles on the setup and will be getting an alignment hopefully next week.

I would do a capacitor at minimum. The battery is a good size AGM from the factory and to be honest, I am not sure on the alternator output on these cars. May be something to consider.

After talking to them Friday, my tracking finally says something will be delivered Wednesday. I will report back.

The issue is he says it was shipped and in the UPS tracking is says “delayed” for whatever reason. He has no idea why and told me I could call. I am not calling. It’s not responsibility to track it down. Plus I am just through with all of their crap.

Yep. Sounds about right. I told him via Instagram if I don’t have it by next Friday I am doing a chargeback with my credit card company. He said I will have it before then. I don’t believe a word of it though.
