I personally mostly have it in auto and lazy mode lately, I used to drive in sport manual all the time with suspension set to comfort and steering set to the same. I always keep the traction control on anymore and I donāt take it out on days that might rain as I am too lazy to wash it lol
But I...
Well my IAT was really high too when we did those pulls, if I was smart I would have waited till fall to see what it actually makes.
I run 93 oct, there are no e85 pumps around where I live unfortunately
At my last job as I was getting in my car to go home some kids in a pickup truck flew into the parking lot and yelled āitās a bmwā which isnāt an insult if you ask me lol
If you want quiet I would go AA downpipe and put the stock catback back on the car.
To me it is perfect even when I floor it, it is still quiet, or atleast compared to my previous 06 gto with full kooks lol
I have the black FTP charge pipe on my 21, they were about $450 when I got them, but something I am curious about is when I went to the drag strip the charge pipe was so hot I could not touch it after a pass, never tried looking at that when I was running the stock pipes.
I donāt like Scott Clark toyota personally, I went to town and country toyota for an oil change but they couldnāt do it since my car was lowered. Although they did give me the oil to do it myself which is what I preferred anyways.
I would get BimmerCode and tune out that obnoxious ASD(fake exhaust sound from speakers), also tune out auto start/stop. For downpipe I would run catted GESI unless you want to see a check engine light unless it is tuned out.
Bought my 2021 8/1/20 have about 6000 miles on it, have no oil consumption issues.
I did take it to the dealer a few weeks back for my free oil change but since I lowered my car they couldnāt change it, they ended up giving me the oil and filter so I could do it myself, worked out perfectly lol
I donāt think your limp mode is the same as this one, I realized that I got one of the pins mixed up when wiring my ewg cable in, once I fixed the wiring it still did not go away in which I disconnected my battery for about 10 min and I have not seen the code since then.
How long have you had the JB4 before adding these mods, I have had a couple codes in the beginning which terry had me disconnect my battery for a bit and never had an issue after that
Yeah I heard about your car, you live in the neighborhood a couple miles down Davis on the left? Friend of mine lives in there, I am about 10 minutes from Davis.
i am not sure for MHD but on my JB4 I had similar issues due to the electronic waste gate, which all I had to do is buy an EWG cable from Burger.
Edit: I am sure the EWG cable will not be a fix for MHD but I am fairly sure it is the wastegate causing the boost spike.
