I said it purely from a gas cost perspective. Not sure what fuel grades you use in the UK but based on the vehicle's manual, here in Canada the minimum recommended fuel grade for the 2.0 is 91 octanes, while for the 3.0 is 93, so from that perspective alone it surely will cost me more...

Yes I do and yes they will fit. Tires have a min/max rim width range suggested by each manufacturer and you can find that info on the tire specs As you can see in the case of the rear OEM tire it's 9"-11"

This is exactly what happened to me a couple of times this Sunday towards the very end a long day of hard driving on canyon roads. '21 2.0 completely stock (B48). I had read something about this on Supras before after prolonged driving so it also sounds to me like some kind of fail safe...
