Just drove from Wisconsin to Sarasota Florida at an average speed of 85 mph in “normal mode” and was getting 34.5 mpg in the 2.0.

Sorry for necroing an old thread, but was curious about this one. I’m at 250 miles on the odometer and seeing about 19 mpg city/highway driving.
It’s too fun to give it the beans in sport while keeping it under 4500 rpm. Can’t wait til I can fully launch it after break-in.

I never really pay much attention to mpg for I primarily do city driving in both modes. If I run the car hard I get just over 160 miles out of a tank… in normal mode about 250 or so miles. Bought it to enjoy its 3.0 performance.

Less than 500 miles on my car and getting 9-14 mpg in manual mode and in-town driving only. Lots of stop & go and air conditioning on my 2 mile commute to work :). Ditto what @Andrew4Supra said 👆

Edit: Using 93 octane. Highway miles to Miami Homestead track 34 mpg 😱- and almost up to 4K miles! Took a pic of our Feb 5th weather down here yesterday for a buddy up North 🥵

3062 miles as of 9/24/22 a mix of garage posing and sleeping.. :hmm:

Usually 28-29mpg and 99% in park ( oh, I mean manual mode. :dunno: )

All of these estimates sound about right. Did an oil change (switched to 0w40) before my road trip to virginia recently. Got about 430 miles out of the tank, exclusively on highway.

Usual city driving is still the same after 3 years of ownership...~16mpg

Almost exclusively using Shell gas and some costco/BP...wish there was a Costco gas near me

Went on a spirited cruise the other day with mostly M4's.
After pushing hard all day, last time I filled up my tank the dash said 360kms (223mi) per tank......and this the 4cyl lol
After checking with my other BMW fellas we were all getting ridiculously low readings and we came to the conclusion the cars automatically adjusted it based on our driving that day. Smart vehicles

I thought I would add an update because I found this interesting. I run E50 and my driving is 95+% city. I hadn't reset my trip meter for several thousand miles and I was right at 22 mpg. On my last oil change I decided to add a bottle of Liqui Moly Ceratec after reading a lot of positive experiences on Corvette and BMW forums and even Project Farm. My mileage now is 24.3. Once the weather improves I'm going to make some Dragy runs to see if there is any difference in 60-130 and quarter mile trap speed.

I have never checked my gas mileage in the 2 years I have owned my car. However, I have never reset the stored averages in it but I have a feeling when coding/flashing the car, it resets them. So if that's the case, after 4 days at the track and about 1000 miles, we have this... E25 mix as well.

Probably close to 10mpg on Ethanol. I drive it hard, pretty much all the time.
