All jokes aside, since it's apparent this has been posted before and I missed it, can either of you post a link to the previous thread? I would like to see if OP is a member here, or perhaps you guys could simply fill me in?
Sounds exactly like my experience minus the "smokes like a chimney for a good bit part". My car will literally stop smoking like 2 seconds after I've completely stopped.
My car has been doing this on and off for well over a year now. Some days I can drive the car all day without seeing any smoke what-so-ever, but then some days it will happen once or twice. My issue is that the little wafting of smoke only ever happens when coming to a stop and once I am...

Yea..... my tuner specifically told me that they left my torque values roughly the same as what they were when I had it tuned on 93 octane, which was roughly 530wtq. He specifically mentioned that it was to keep the transmission as safe as possible.

When you say fucked, do you mean it's literally busted as in you can't drive the car at all, or do you mean that it's "fucked" as in it's slipping at a specific RPM in a specific gear? If it's just slipping in the higher gears at higher RPM's, before you go swapping tuners I would recommend...
Beautiful! I had a BK1 as well, it was Tsukuba red. After owning both, I preferred my BK1. I put so much into that car and it looked so clean when I was done with it.....
(Ignore the Pabst Blue Ribbon van in the background, that doesn't reflect on my drinking choices, I simply work for...
It was pulling teeth to get a test drive in my Supra before I bought it. What finally did the job was when I told the sales manager that I would never buy a car that I didn't test drive first. They then asked to run my credit AND value my potential trade-in and whether or not I intended to put...
