Just saw this on a S2000 I looked at. Rear quarter panel had been replaced which was obviously welded and had overspray. Carfax showed it was taken to a repair shop but was not considered a red flag for an accident.
I really don't know. I figured it was changed during service. I always change oil in my sports cars every 5k but I don't want an engine with significant oil burning or possible cylinder damage as someone reported.
Front end didn't bother me. The new M4 is what looks like a Mustang not this. I've always hated the 350/370 stock styling but I was blown away seeing this in person.
